34 Chapter 34- Westin – Left with the King (VOLUME 1)

When Rika said that she was heading to the kitchen to make coffee, I wanted to say that I would go with her, but then Queen Trinity said that she was going to go instead. And not only that, but I didn't want Reece to think that I wanted to do anything that I wasn't supposed to. I wanted to show him that I was respectable and worthy of his daughter.

"Trying to pretend to be upstanding?" Reece crossed his arms and glared at me. "Why didn't you go with Rika to help her, huh?" He looked as if he was sulking and not at all happy with me. 

"I didn't want you to think that I was up to something." I wasn't going to hide anything from him. That wouldn't be good for us right now.
