A Slight Explanation
First and foremost, this novel is a sequel to the book 'Chosen by Fate, Rejected by the Alpha. In that novel, the story primarily followed Trinity and Reece on their journey to finding love, having a family, and becoming who they were meant to be.
And just who were they exactly? Well, instead of just being the Alpha and Luna of the Red Springs Wolf Pack, Trinity was the Goddess Incarnate, and sort of rebirth of the Goddess to all of the shifters in the world, Nehalennia. This title ascended her to the position of Luna Queen, ruler to all the shifters. And by default her mate, Reece, was the king.
And having been part witch as well, Trinity was given a position of Queen to the magic users, this was a gift from the father of the witches and warlock, the Egyptian God Thoth.
Throughout the stories, Trinity gained many powers and abilities, becoming one of the most powerful beings in all of existence. In the third main story Volume of the original book, Trinity actually took the souls of three Gods into her body to grant her people immortality. This was done in an effort to save the life of someone very near and dear to her. And from that moment on, it sent a cascading effect down the line that came at them in the end.
The original story, which started in the year 2020 (when I started to write it) ended in the year 2041. It spans 21 years, has a massive and immersive cast that had lives of their own that the readers grew to love and enjoy. The were not just background characters, but they were ones that people seemed to love and adore. (And there was even on background character that someone will not let me forget and his death has become known as the Zeke incident, hasn't it C?)
In the sequel to Chosen by Fate, Rejected by the Alpha, the story will follow the lives of the children that were born into the original story, of which there were A LOT! Trinity and Reece alone have eight children that range in age from newborn to almost twenty years old. Now, the sequel will focus on the older ones, the youngest, Reeselynn, will not be part of the matings this time around. I am sorry, but spanning six years will be a lot easier than eighteen years. I am willing to do the one, but I don't want to go that much farther into the future.
Some of these 'Legacies' that you will encounter in volume one will include the oldest three of Trinity and Reece's children: Talia, Reagan and Rika. Shawn and Dietrich's oldest children: Alyssa, Alexandria, Levi, Luka, Luther, and Fauna. Juniper (Trinity's best friend) and Paul's oldest two children: the twins Ilana and Rowan. Cedar (Juniper's brother) and Acacia's oldest three: triplets Beech, Cypress, and Ashle. And Noah (Trinity's cousin and adoptive brother) and Nikki's oldest son: Elias.
There are others that will be in this story, in volume one and the subsequent volumes, including some of Talia's friends. Talia is sixteen when the story starts and a freshman in college. She is starting early because she has worked hard. She is also training to become the new Goddess of the underworld when she is old enough and has two demons as her guards: Alexio and Rudy.
These friends of Talia's include Ada, Melissa, Sereia, Storm, and Saylor. Now, some of my readers that have read other books of mine will recognize the last three names. They are the children born to Ocean and Makai in A Wave of Desire. Yes, there are a lot of crossovers in my books, and they will continue into this sequel.
I don't want new readers to worry though. I am going to try very hard to make sure that this book is completely able to be read as a standalone novel. You won't be required to read the first book to know what is going on. Everything and everyone will be reintroduced. And there will be an independent set of problems that they have to solve in this story.
One is one example of a problem that they need to face this time around? Well, aside from the struggles of navigating college and finding your soulmate at the same time, there are people that are attacking students on campus. Students that are either supporters of the nonhumans, who have recently become known to the entire world, or people that maybe they think are nonhumans. This is just a little of what is going to be happening within this first volume.
I promise you all this, Chosen Legacy will be filled with intrigue, drama, comedy, tension, and a lot of hot and steamy romance. Again, any veteran readers here will know that there is a lot of really good, and really juicy, chapters in my book. So, come on in and take a look. I hope that you enjoy it all.

Do take note that in this story the POV is almost always in first person, however, it will change focus in different chapters. It can be in Rika's, Reagan's, Talia's, Elias's, Alyssa's, and many more. I like to let you get more than just one person's perspective on what is happening. And this has been a good style for my readers in the past.
