ANCIENT GREECE

(450 BCE) - 10 YEARS AFTER THE FIRST VAMPIRE (DIENEKES) AND THE FIRST WEREWOLF (KING LEONIDAS) WERE CREATED. AN IMPORTANT EVENT OCCURRED THAT LEAD TO THE WAR OF OLDS.

It was like a normal morning in Ancient Greece. King Leonidas was in the castle, dressed in his royal robes, surveying his kingdom from the tall, stone tower of his castle. The sun was shining, and the people of the kingdom were bustling about, going about their daily lives. But King Leonidas could sense something was amiss. A feeling of dread hung in the air, and he could not shake the feeling that something terrible was about to happen. He turned to his advisor; Deinekes (He is no longer a mere Servant as he has been promoted to the King's most trusted advisor), who was standing by his side, and asked, "Do you feel it too?"

The advisor nodded, his face grim. "A storm is coming, my liege. I can feel it in my bones."

[NOTE: The King didn't mere promote Deinekes not because of he was the First Vampire or because he knew that him (King Leonidas) was a Werewolf or because he was his LOKI LUPIN. It was because since day one he saw him as a Son]

As the first Original Vampire and as the First Original Werewolf. The two of them were far stronger than the others that would be created from them. They had more advanced senses than the others.

"I know, my friend," the King replied, his gaze far away. "I have foreseen it in my dreams. A darkness is coming, and it will bring ruin to our lands. We must prepare for it, and we must be strong, or all will be lost."

Deinekes looked at the King, his eyes wide. "What can we do, my liege? How can we prepare for something we do not understand?"

The King turned to him, a steely resolve in his eyes. "We must gather our strength, and we must never lose hope."

"You seem to never age, Deinekes." The King said trying to change the topic. "What of your pregnant wife when is she going to deliver."

'He is changing the topic.' Deinekes thought. After he became a Vampire, he noticed he was a lot smarter than most people would think. Even Leonidas had no clue how smart Deinekes was right now.

"I guess it is because of me become a Vampire." Deinekes said. "As for my wife, she is going to deliver very soon."

"I see you like the name they called you." King Leonidas said. "A Vampire. The Streets really gives silly names. Send my regards to your Wife. I would come and meet you soon."

It was true. The name Vampire and the name Werewolf were given by the Street as rumours spread far that there was a creature; a dead Creature that sucked blood at night. That there was a man who could turn into a Wolf at night.

No matter how the King tried to hide this information. The truth would still leak. At least, the People had no clue who the Vampires and the Werewolves are.

Deinekes seemed to embrace the name given to him by the Streets - A Vampire. But king Leonidas seem to not like it at all, but at the end of the day, he grew to accept the name a Werewolf and he acted like a Wolf in real life after creating some Werewolves and Created what he referred to as a pack.

King Leonidas found out how to create another Werewolf by the help of both Deinekes and Agatheia. He learnt that his claws and his bite could create another Werewolf.

"Your majesty, I am honored to serve you, but I must be honest with you," Deinekes said, his voice low and respectful. "I am concerned that the pack's existence may be discovered by those who would seek to destroy us. We must be careful, lest we bring harm upon ourselves and our loved ones."

Deinekes gazed up at the King, his eyes filled with worry and concern. He was a loyal advisor, and he only wanted what was best for his King and the pack. But he knew that there were those who would see them as monsters, and seek to destroy them.

"You mean mere Humans." The King said and then laughed like this was a joke. "Let them find out and we shall crush them." The King said those last words clenched his fists so hard that the bones in his wrist could be heard breaking and repairing itself.

Deinekes on the other hand wasn't happy with the King's words. Ever since the King became a Werewolf and had a pack. He had always been looking after the pack seriously. Even if he cared for the people. Anyone human that would find out about the pack. He wouldn't hesitate to kill such person. Unknown to Deinekes this was a Natural Pack Instincts.

The sound of someone running to where they were could be heard. Even if the person was a few miles away, they could hear the person's heartbeat and footsteps loudly due to their Super Hearing.

A maid reached where they were and was panting because she had been running all this while looking for Deinekes until a guard told her where he was.

"Sir Deinekes." The female maid said. "It's about your Wife. She is in Labour about to give birth."

With no hesitation, Deinekes bolted out of the room, racing towards his wife. He didn't even think to ask the King for permission, his only thought was getting to his wife's side as quickly as possible. As he ran, he could hear the steady beat of his own heart and the pounding of his feet on the ground. His wife was all that mattered in that moment, and he had to get to her.

The castle corridors seemed to stretch on forever, and Deinekes felt like he was running in slow motion.

Unknown to everyone, this child of Deinekes would bring a new race. A new race that would be referred to as a Vampire Hunter. A Dhampir...
