Chapter 20

July 15, 2021 - Around 5:00

The boys and I are at the studio right now, they are working on songs for their next album and I am watching. It's actually quite entertaining. I was sitting on a couch with Zach on the floor sitting between my legs, Daniel and Jonah were sat at a table, Corbyn and Jack were on either side of me on the couch. "Fuck," I suddenly say quietly as I feel a sharp pain go through my stomach. None of the boys heard and just continued to talk about the song. The pain didn't last long only like 30 seconds so I just decided to ignore it, well that is until the same pain comes again about 20 minutes later. "Zach?" I say realizing what was happening.

"Yes, Princess?" Zach asks turning around to face me.

"Um, I think, I think the baby is coming," I say in almost a whisper.

"What? Seriously?" He asks as the boys jump to their feet, standing around me.

"Yeah, I started my contractions," I say sinking into the couch a little feeling all their stares drilling into me with worry.

"Ok well, let's go," Zach says grabbing one of my forearms as Daniel grabs the other, so they can help me to my feet.

As we are walking out of the building I feel a slight pop and the feeling of liquid leaking out of me, "yeah, guys my water just broke," I announce.

They finally get me into the car and start the drive to the closest Hospital, "I called the doc and she is on her way to the hospital we are headed to," Zach tells me holding my hand. I feel another contraction hit so I squeezing Zach's hand cause well these things hurt, "Ow babe".

"'Ow babe' OW BABE, are you kidding I am about to push a baby, your baby out of my body and you can't handle a little hand-holding," I snap.

"Have fun with her," Jack laughs but stops fast when I look over at him.

Jonah finally parks the car outside the hospital and the boys rush me into the hospital. "Hey, Hi, my girlfriend is um going into labor," Zach says to the front desk lady.

"Yes I can see that," She says sweetly.

Another lady comes up next to the desk with a chair and beckons me to sit in it. She looks over at the five boys watching me carefully, "Only the father can come back right now".

"Yeah that's me," Zach says stepping forward, I smile up at him before the lady starts walking away and my amazing boyfriend tries to keep up.

July 16, 2021 - around 12:00 pm

Elijah Myta Herron was born at 7:26 am on July 16, 2021. He weighs 7 pounds, 3 oz and is 20 inches long. I did end up getting an epidural eventually, so the actual birth part didn't hurt terribly bad. We did his middle name after Myta because both her and Josh have been so amazing over the past year and I can't thank them enough.

Myta got here right before I started pushing and stayed with me the whole time. Josh, Ryan, and Reese came after Elijah was born. The boys waited in the waiting room the whole time and were all very happy to meet their nephew. Jack called Rori after I went back into the room, she got here an hour after Elijah came out of me.

Zach and I decided to name Rori and Ryan the baby's godparents, and they accepted happily.

It was hard to go through these past few hours without my mom but at the same time I had my family there and I couldn't be happier.
