Chapter 14

Zach and I were talking and we decided to do a gender reveal party with the boys and his parents. Even though we haven't told them yet. I am 20 weeks pregnant and showing quite a bit. We have seen his family a few times and all those times I had to wore a big sweater to hide the baby bump. We are telling Myta and Josh tonight. Zach and I are going to their house for dinner so we can tell them.

"Are you guys wanting to know the gender of the baby today?" the nurse asked as she was getting me ready.

"We wanted to do a gender reveal so we were wondering if you could tell our friend who is out in the lobby?"

"Of course when we see it we will go and tell him, what is his name?"

"Jonah Maris," Zach tells her.

"Ok your doctor will be in a second," she said before leaving.

We waited for about five minutes before my doctor, Dr. Jonhson, walks in, "Hello Mr. and Mrs. Herron," She says. Neither of us corrected her, I just smiled and looked up at my amazing boyfriend.

I like the ring of that. Mrs. Herron. Olivia Herron.

"Good morning Dr. Johnson," I greet.

"Sorry my nurse told me you guys want to do something special with the gender, and I am spacing?"

"Oh we were wondering if you could tell our friend not us so we can do a gender reveal," Zach tells her.

"Sounds like fun," she says kindly.

She put the gel on my stomach and than provided with the ultra sound, "there is your baby," she informs pointing at the little TV thing.

"Wow," Zach says in ah.

"It is so cute," I say.

"It is not an it," Zach scolds playfully.

"Well we don't know its gender so I have to call it an it," I argue.

"Fine but after we find out no more calling it an it," he instructs me. The Doctor just seems very amused by our little "fight".

"Your baby is perfectly healthy and the fetus is about as big as a banana," she tells us brightly.

"Thats still so little and cute," I gush.

After our appointment Zach and I headed home before we left for his parents house. I wore this cute nude button up and some leggings. It hides the bump enough but it is also able to be seen.

"Are you ready for this?" Zach asks me.

"Your mom is going to kill me," I say into my hands.

"Hey, Princess, it takes two to make a baby. She will kill both of us," he tells me.

"You aren't helping," I whine.

"I'm sorry," he says grabbing my hand off my lap.

"I know that the sooner we tell her the better and no matter when we tell her she will have the same reaction but I am so scared. I mean you have your whole career in-front of you and I'm gonna ruin it," I cry.

"You or our baby are not going to ruin anything, this is happening for a reason and whatever happens after the baby is born will have happened for a reason," Zach ashers me.

"But your gonna resent me," I say almost breaking into tears.

At this point we were parked outside his Myta and Josh's so Zach unbuckled my seat belt and pulled me over onto his lap. "Baby girl I love you with my whole heart and I have no idea what is going to happen in the future but one thing I do know is that I will always love you. A part of me knew that since you walked out of you room and refused to look at me," he said causing me laugh even though there were tears running down my cheeks.

"Well if we are talking about how long we have known we would love each other forever I think I would win," I tease and Zach gives me a questioning look. "I have known since Rori showed me the first Jachery video a year before we met".

"Really? Thats when you fell for me?"

"Yes and no, I that when I fell for Zach Herron, I knew that I truly loved you when I told you about how I felt in my family".

He slowly presses his lips to mine, the kiss wasn't passionate or hot, it was just full of love, it was the most amazing feeling I had ever felt. When we pull away zach says, "I do have one question though".

"hm."

"Why Jachery videos?"

I laugh a little before explaining, "Rori and I have a very similar relationship and I could see how much you care about you friends. Freindship has always been such a huge thing for me and seeing that with you meant something big for me".

"I love you... are you ready for this?"

"No time better than the present," I say before opening the door and crawling off his lap, and out of the car.

He gets out as well and we proceed to his parents front door. "I don't know if I'm ready for this," he says quickly before entering the house and pulling me with him. Oh, how reassuring?

"Zach, Olivia, you guys are here?" Myta calls coming out of the kitchen.

"Hey mom," Zach says hugging her.

"Hi Myta," I greet before pulling her into a light hug hopping she wont feel my bump.

"Hi dad," Zach greets his father doing the man hug thing.

"Hey Zach, Olivia," he say coming over to me and hugging me.

"Zach and Olivia are here?" Reese asks running down the stairs. She sees us and runs up to me hugging me tightly.

"Well hello Reese," I giggle.

"Hey Zach," she says not sounding that interested in him.

Zach just stands there looking affended, "you turned my little sister against me".

"I did not turn her against you, she just like me more now," I brag.

"Well ryan likes me more," he says confidently.

"No I don't" Ryan says coming down the stairs.

"I'm breaking up with you," he tells me.

"No you aren't," everyone in the room including me says.

He laughs before kissing my forehead. "Mom, Dad can we talk to you before dinner?" Zach asks seriously cause his parents to become worried.

"Yeah of course, kids go upstairs we will call you when we are done" Myta answers. Ryan walks away and Reese does the same pouting as she does.

"Lets go to the living room," Zach suggests. We walk into their living room and sit, Zach and I facing them. "Before we tell you please don't interrupt, I want you to hear everything before you respond".

"Ok," they both agree.

"I'm pregnant," I say quickly.

"We know we are young and this is not an ideal time but we have a plan," Zach starts.

I continue by saying, "Yes I will finish high school and than do college online whenever I get the chance. Zach will help whenever he can but I understand that he is busy with the band and I am ok with being on baby duty most of the time".

"And obviously if you guys want to you guys can help but we do not expect you to help all the time or at all if you don't want to," Zach says politly.

It's quiet for a minute or so before Myta speaks, "you guys are right it is not a great time and you are young but you two are doing something, you guys already have a plan and of course we will help out whenever you need us. We love both of you so much and are proud that you are being proactive".

Hearing her words relief floods through my entire body. "I'm kinda excited to be a grandpa," Josh says.

"Thank you so much for understanding," Zach says.

"Yeah thank you for everything you guys have seriously become second parents for me and I apperitiate it so much," I tell them honestly.

"We are happy to be here, shall we go eat?" Josh says.

"Yeah," we all agree.

Zach and Josh head out of the living room, I am about to follow when Myta says, "Olivia can I ask you for something?"

"Yeah of course," I say nervously.

"Are you going to tell you parents? or want them to know at all?"

"I don't think I am going to, everything is still so fresh and I know that they would want to be involved if they knew but I just don't think I'm ready to have them back in my life or if I even want them in the baby's life," I tell her sadly.

"I'm sorry," she appoligises.

"It's ok," I say putting a smile on my face.

She wraps her arm around me as we start walking toward the kitchen, "who far along are you?"

"20 weeks," I tell her feeling a little guilty about not telling them earlier.

I guess she could tell because she said, "hey, it's ok. We understand. But when did you find out?"

"Eight weeks".

"hm ok".

"Have you guys found out the gender yet?" Josh asks as Myta and I walk into the kitchen.

"No but Jonah knows, we are having a gender reveal party on Saturday that obviously you guys, Ryan, and Reese are invited to," Zach tells them.

"What are we invited to?" Ryan asks walking down stairs, with Reese close behind him.

"To Olivia and I's baby's gender reveal," Zach tells them as he is setting the table.

"Wait I'm going to be an aunt?" Reese asks excitedly.

"Yep and Ryan is going to be an uncle," I laugh.

"Cool," Reese says staring into space.

"Lets eat," Myta calls and everyone gather around the table. As we ate I could feel how much I actually felt like I belonged and it makes me happy to be somewhere, where I don't have to hide.
