203 Chimaera Vs. Chimaera (1)

The door opened, but the trio wasn't prepared for what they saw next. The place was filled with hanging organs from various monsters and even some humans. As if that wasn't enough, even the floor was littered with corpses.

The chamber looked more like a corpse assembly workshop than a dungeon's boss room. Amelia, sensitive to the smell of decay and chemicals, pinched her nose. 

Sophia reacted similarly, but for Adrian, the smell wasn't problematic. It was the scenario, and it felt like he was living through a nightmare.

He didn't have any doubt what the place was. It was an operating room—one where chimaeras like him were made. Adrian curled his hand into fists, his fingers digging into his palm as the buried memories resurfaced.

However, before they could step further, their eyes fell on a massive giant-like goblin standing in the middle of the room with his back turned towards them.
