1 1 - Waking

None of us remember what happened exactly.

We just woke up one day and no one but us were around. We had traveled for days yet we saw no one for miles. We saw burned down cities, dead farms, and animals cowering away when nighttime came. Anton said that we should follow the animals lead because the animals were much more smarter when it came to the wild.

Andrew didn't listen to Anton and went missing overnight. We all learned quickly to trust each other when it came to the wild world. We were all raised in towns and cities. We weren't raised in forest, deserts, and fields. Correction, Jax was raised on a farm.

There are so many unanswered questions about the world now and we can't find our answer.

My name is Alice Park. I'm fourteen years old, born in America, and female. I'm one out of six members of the Unseen Kids.

One day I just woke up in a room with seven other people. None of us remember our lives before we awoke, but sometimes we catch fragments of memories from our dreams.

After we had awakened, we all agreed to leave wherever we were and search for someone to explain everything to us. Sugihara and Andre were skeptical at first, but tagged along anyways when Elise reminded them of horror movie logic.

For miles we saw no one but we still walked until we could no longer. All the animals seem to panic when the sunset so, logically, I panicked and told the others about how animals were smarter than us when it came to the wild world. One of the Unseen Kids, Andrew, was stubborn and he disappeared overnight. Everyone listened to advice that anyone else gave from then on. I have so many questions on what happened before all this, but there's no one around to answer them.
