Children of Sin

"No man would hesitate to kill me if they had the chance," he said. "The Zephyrs are a danger to all, a monster who can kill them at any moment. No remorse would be in their eyes as they plunge a knife into my chest." His eyes stared into mine, stirring with anxiousness. His tone was deep yet slow, as if he put many thoughts behind each word he used. "Liliana. Would you also kill me if you had the chance?" There was a moment of silence. --- The mysterious Zephyr family consists of an absent father and two sons, and Liliana is forced into joining their family. There's nothing particularly special about Liliana. She comes from a humble lineage and had grown up in a small town her whole life. The Zephyr family shouldn't know of her existence. So why was she chosen to be their sister? Liliana finds herself thrusted into the mysterious world of her two brothers, and slowly begins to understand that the family is far darker than she expected, and the reason to why she is in the center of all of it.
