Birthday Surprise:

1 year later.....

Farah's pov:

Xavier has left almost for 9 months now. He immediately left after his graduation. He has gone almost all Packs all over the world. I haven't talked to him in 9 months in fact only Alpha Damon knows little about him. It's clear that he has not found his mate yet. I am relieved as well anxious, what if he has found his mate now or will find her. He is gonna return soon with or without his mate. It's tradition if the Alpha doesn't find his mate in his 1st-year tour then he has to come back resume his Alpha duties for some time then he can go in search of his mate by his choice and for any period of time (as his wish). I Just wish my best friend will be present on my birthday tomorrow. Yes, tomorrow is my 18 birthday and I might meet my mate tomorrow. I am happy, nervous, terrified altogether, Happy: Xavier might be my mate, Nervous: he might not be my mate, Terrified: That man whore, obsessed freak Kyle David might be my mate. Please Moon Goddess anyone but not him. I can't reject my fated mate. Alpha Damon and Luna Stella are gonna arrange a birthday party at packhouse, they treat me like their own daughter. I just miss my Xavi very much. I wish he was tomorrow here with me.

I am sitting in my room in my house and Adam came into my room.

Adam: hey baby sister excited for tomorrow.

I glared at him with a pout.

Farah: I am just younger than you by 2 minutes.

I put my 2 fingers in front of his eyes. He chuckled.

Adam: still 2 minutes are a big thing.

Adam is mostly reserved, he is only like this with me obviously I am his twin we have a twin connection, and he can't hide anything from me nor can I. He ruffled my hair and then become serious.

Adam: you are missing Xavier. Aren't you?

As I said I can't hide anything from him even though I show everyone that I am happy. I can't hide anything neither from him nor my Xavi. They can see right through my face. I hugged him tightly and cried a little.

Adam: hey! hey! you know if he could, he would have never missed your birthday.

Farah: I know.

Adam: you know I am jealous of your friendship.

Adam joked. I laughed.

Adam: that is the voice I want to hear. I don't want to be murdered by your best friend if he came to know that I let you cry.

I laughed very loudly. He kissed my forehead.

Adam: always be happy.

I smiled at him, he always managed to cheer me up.

Adam: Good Night sweet little sis.

I smacked his arm, he chuckled at me and I too joined him.

Farah: Good Night my dear brother.

He left my room and I closed the lights and as soon I closed my eyes dark grey eyes came to my mind.

In the morning I feel fresh even though I am missing Xavier but I am excited also because tonight maybe I gonna see my mate. I hope my mate will be as excited as me to see me. I went downstairs and my parents hugged me.

Isabella: I am so excited today my daughter is 18 years old now. She is going to find her mate soon.

Papa said in a very serious mode:

Alexander: mate or not if he hurt my daughter in a slight bit I am gonna shred him in pieces and he has to make me believe that he is right for my daughter.

I chuckled, mama smacked his arm.

Isabella: stop it.

Adam: dad is absolutely right.

Adam hugged me and ruffled my hair.

Adam: happy birthday baby sis.

I pouted at him, he chuckled at me. I too joined him.

After  I cut the cake, everyone was enjoying the party, some were dancing, some were having dinner. Alpha and Luna gifted me a Mercedes Car, you see Alpha Damon is very rich he has various companies around the world.  I was enjoying the party. I was actually very much happy because no one is my mate in my pack at least for now, It also gave me hope that maybe Xavier is my mate. By thinking about him my mood got a little bit sad. Goddess I miss him. This is the 1st birthday I am celebrating without him. The most annoying thing at this party is slut Melissa and her minions because she is just talking about how she is gonna be the future Luna. How she is gonna be his chosen mate. How much fool she is, thinking that Xavier will even think about that. Not gonna Brag about it if Xavier is gonna really go for a chosen mate then that person is gonna be me because Xavier is closest to me in the whole pack and I know only his Mate is gonna be that close to him. I know Xavier is never going to choose any mate, not even me and I am also not gonna accept it because we have been taught from childhood how much a mate bond is strong and important, we have seen the person who chooses mate over fated one, what happens to them when they meet their fated mate, how they lose their mind or causes serious damage and issues. A wolf gets so possessive over their fated mate that he/she can even kill their chosen mate in their anger but still, there are fools of wolves like Melissa Bitch thinking chosen mates are better than fated ones. All pack members hate Melissa and her minions and they know better that she is never gonna be Future Luna but they didn't confront her because she is one of the strongest werewolves in our pack.

Mara took me to the woods near the lake to show me my surprise gift. I don't understand what is in the wood. As I was going near the woods I smell the most amazing scent of woods and mint. I felt attracted to this scent. My feet start running on their own towards this scent, my wolf becoming more eager than ever to this scent. I know that what is happening, it's my mate. He is here. My wolf is chanting in my head to go to him. I didn't notice the absence of Mara. I didn't care about her gift anymore all I want to go to my mate.

As soon I reach the lake I saw my Xavi with the same excitement and emotions as mine. Then when I saw in his eyes. My wolf and his wolf said the word at the same time.

Farah: MATE!

Xavier: MATE!

I and Xavier said it together. I can't believe it  Moon Goddess just made my dream come true. My mate is my childhood friend, my Crush whom I have a crush on from childhood, maybe in love with, My Xavier, My Xavi, My Mate.

I and Xavier run to each other and hugged each other tightly and my body exploded with sparks ( which mates feel with each other whenever they touch each other).

Xavier's pov:

Tonight is my princess's birthday celebration and I am going to give her a surprise. It is impossible for me to be away from her any longer, especially on her birthday and besides I have traveled all over the world, I didn't find my mate she is not in any pack not yet (maybe she is not 18 yet) but I can't stay away from Farah anymore and moreover I have to resume my  Alpha duties. I am having so much hope that maybe she is my mate and tonight I will know about it. I am very hopeful. 

As I came back to my pack, I immediately went to the lakeside and informed Mara to bring my princess to me. Only a few people knew about my surprise visit: my Parents and Mara. After a few minutes of waiting, I smell the most amazing scent of strawberry and Vanilla. I almost lost control over my wolf. I know immediately that it is my mate. My wolf wants to go to his Mate but I am rooted at the spot because I am thinking only one thing that this person could be my princess because she is coming in my direction because no one knew about my sudden arrival. All pack members are at packhouse. Mara could not be my mate because she has not turned 18 yet. As I was thinking about it and fighting my wolf because my wolf is thinking the same, I saw her arrive at the lakeside with the same expression as mine and soon I saw her blue eyes my wolf and her wolf said in union.

Xavier: MATE!

Farah: MATE!

I was on cloud 9 finally my wish came true. I knew that the connection that I am having with her is not out of blue. My wolf made me run to our mate and her wolf did the same with her and when I hugged her explosion of sparks formed in my body. I have always felt content with her touch but today it's like heavenly. I know very well that I am never gonna leave her again ever. My princess, My Farah, My Faru, My Mate.
