Flower scents

"I am an author. And my latest work is 'Limited'." said Yoon while smiling at Ki-bum.

"I mean not your job but who you really are." said Ki-bum with a suspicious face.

Yoon laughed when he saw Ki-bum's expression.

"Hmm"

Yoon thought for a moment. A second later he suddenly hugged Ki-bum and said, "It's really hard to explain it. We'd better get straight into it".

Ki-bum is shocked and panicking.

"What do you mean by going straight into it? And what does that have to do with what you are doing right now?" He was referring to the hugs.

Ki-bum's inner thought exploded inside his mind while Yoon was hugging him.

'His well-built body. Well I have seen it before but to be able to feel it like this-- is incredible.'

Ki-bum couldn't help but recall the first time he saw Yoon's naked body was the last time they met when he was still seventeen years old.

That time when Yoon keeps apologizing to Ki-bum for not visiting regularly. Ki-bum started to have that thought of teasing him when he saw his panicked face. It made him excited that Ki-bum suddenly came up with a fun idea.

"Why don't you just stay the night, Yoon? And let's take a bath together" said Ki-bum innocently.

He grabbed Yoon's arm and dragged him into the bathroom. But Surprisingly, Yoon didn't show the slightest shame, as if he was used to being naked in front of strangers.

This made Ki-bum a little disappointed and instead felt like biting his own tongue because now he was the one feel embarrassed to be naked in front of Yoon.

After bath, they had dinner and watched TV together then slept at the same bed in Ki-bum's bedroom.

The moment Ki-bum finished with his flashback, he suddenly felt warm but also a little bit chill around him. He looked to his right while still hugging Yoon tightly.

Their surroundings were suddenly filled with unique white flowers that he had never seen in his whole life. The flower gives off a sweet calming scent. He immediately turned his head again to the left, and there was a path leading to a house.

An ancient eastern traditional style resident was built in the middle of a large yard. There are trees with brownish red leaves surrounding the house. The leaves fell from the tree when the breeze blew.

"Fall? But--" Ki-bum turned his head back to his right again. "spring?" said Ki-bum while looking at the blooming flower.

Ki-bum keeps turning his head back and forth without realizing that his hair was brushing Yoon's nose which made Yoon to chuckle.

A hand suddenly touched Ki-bum at his head, making him immediately come to his senses.

"There is a leaf fell on your head" Yoon said it close to Ki-bum's ear gently.

Ki-bum flinched with a flushed face when Yoon said it near his ear. He quickly moved away from Yoon while holding his ear with his hand.

Ki-bum suddenly shouted while pointing at Yoon with his index finger the moment he was looking at Yoon.

"WHAT HAPPENED WITH YOUR CLOTHES AND HAIR?"

Yoon wore a white knight silk robe with a pair of white boots while the robe flower pattern and belt were gold. His waist-length black hair fell elegantly on his back.

Ki-bum was again amazed by Yoon's appearance.

Yoon walked over to Ki-bum who had just walked away from him and made him freeze on the spot with a red face as he saw Yoon approached him. Yoon lifted Ki-bum's hair with his hands and smelled the scent while looking into his eyes.

'What? Wait. Whose hair is this?' thought Ki-bum.

"Your hair, Ki-bum."

"There's no way this is..."

Ki-bum stopped in the middle of his conversation and quickly grabbed his own head.

"The fact that your appearance changed the moment you set foot in this place makes me very happy. You look exactly like him."

Ki-bum noticed that he was wearing a plain two-tone silk robe that was green and white combined with a belt and a pair of white boots. He has short bangs and his long black hair is neatly tied up on top.

"What do you mean by the change in my appearance? Can you begin to explain everything to me? Starting from who you are, more importantly we were still on the road just now, why did we suddenly end up here? Where is this place?"

"Calm down. Let's go inside the house first." Yoon chuckled.

Yoon turned around while showing Ki-bum the way. They both walked towards the house.

"And there seems to be something wrong with the plants here. Flowers are blooming over here and tree leaves falling over there. Can't they just pick a season? Geez." Ki-bum keeps mumbling while following Yoon into the house.

"Sit here." Said Yoon.

Yoon pours Ki-bum a cup of tea then sits down to join him. There is a large lotus pond in the backyard, which makes the scenery even more stunning.

"Nice view isn't it?" Yoon asked.

"Truly a magnificent view-- So what is this place?" Ki-bum lifted the cup of tea that Yoon poured for him and took a sip.

"This place is another world. It can also be called the afterlife."

Ki-bum spit out all the tea he just sipped from his mouth into the air the moment he heard Yoon's words.

Yoon immediately gave a handkerchief to Ki-bum.

"So am I dead?" asked Ki-bum, while wiping his mouth frantically.

"No. You're not dead. I only brought you here to answer your question."

Ki-bum stared at him. "So you are the one dead?"

Yoon chuckled. "Yes-- or No?"

"First, I'm human. But I have lived for hundreds of years thanks to the power I inherited from my Master. My real goal actually was to collect the fragments of my master's soul through his incarnation but after hundreds of years, still I didn't get a hold of it until now." Yoon continues.

Ki-bum can feel Yoon's great disappointment when listening to his story. Yoon continued to tell his story to Ki-bum while looking at the scenery in front of the terrace calmly.

"When I found you, who were born with the most soul fragments from my Master, I could feel my high hopes of meeting with my Master again getting higher. And what's even more surprising is that you changed into the same appearance as my late Master when you stepped on this world."

"So you mean you are an immortal?" Ki-bum asks.

"I think so."

'So it turns out that this is the reason he approached me' Ki-bum pouted when he heard Yoon's story.

Yoon smiled when he saw Ki-bum pouting his lips.

"At first it was. But now I've changed my mind." Yoon continued.

Ki-bum was shocked and immediately stood up from his seat. 'Did I just accidentally tell my thoughts out of my mouth?' Ki-bum asked himself.

"Nope" Yoon answered with a sweet smile on his face.

"You-- can hear what I said from my mind?" Ki-bum asked.

Yoon nodded his head and smiled at him without saying anything.

"Since… when?"

Ki-bum asked again while holding his body which started to tremble slightly.

"Since the beginning."

Ki-bum felt like he had just been slapped.

'So from the start he always knew what I was imagining about him when I was with him. Even when we last saw each other before I took him to my apartment. My thoughts when we shower together and when we sleep together??'

"Yes"

Yoon answered while covering his mouth with his fist trying to hide his excitement while glanced at Ki-bum.

'Argh… He read my mind again!'

Ki-bum crouched on the floor in shame as he thought of pulling all his hair out to bald and found a hole to put his head in.

When Ki-bum was still feeling down, Yoon stood up and said to Ki-bum, "It's time to go back. You have class, don't you?"

"Tomorrow is Sunday so I don't have class." Ki-bum answered limply.

"Well, not anymore."

Yoon grabs Ki-bum's waist and hugs him. In a blink of eyes, they were back at Ki-bum's apartment.
