Life as a Devil

"Ahh!" Ryuu was woken up from his slumber with a sharp pain he felt on his body. He tried to open his eyes, and saw a familiar ceiling, which of his bedroom.

His memories were still hazy, but he clearly remembered passing out in bathroom when he tried to fuse the King piece with his soul. The sheer amount of pain was enough to give him chills, just by thinking about it.

He felt like every single muscle of his body was torn apart, and it was getting re-constructed simultaneously. The pain was completely on a different level, he couldn't keep his head straight, and fainted on the spot moments after.

So the question was how did he end up here, he neither remember walking back here nor remembers sleeping here. As if to answer his questions, a sweet voice came out.

"I brought you back here and congratulations on becoming a devil, Ryuu." He looked over at his right side, and saw Rias laying beside him stark naked. Her voluptuous chest, just a inch away from his face.

This might be the hardest he has ever been just after waking up, even though he was stunned and grateful for the view, he realised that he has been staring at her body for too long, so he quickly averted his gaze and looked towards the ceiling.

"I think you should wear something from next time. It's hard to resist when you are next to such a beauty."

Rias didn't look bothered with him, staring at her body but choose to use her magic to create the standard uniform of Kuoh Academy on his request, covering herself.

"Ask me anything, my brother asked me to help you out so feel free." Rias told him this while getting up from the bed while Ryuu trying to calm his head down, and also the bulge in the pants.

After calming down a bit, he wondered if there is something he want to ask her, he know about the evil pieces already, even have a good idea on who are going to be the members of his peerage.

He had a decent idea about his power as well, his perception, vision and his body was greatly strengthened, atleast that's what he felt. He could also feel just a little bit of fear, by looking at Rias which wasn't there before.

"Can you help me understand magic?" Even though he knows the basic principles, it's better to be guided by someone than try to work out on his own. He needs to get strong enough before the next major event after all or Sirzechs... nope he definitely don't want to even think about it.

"That's fine, visit me in the clubroom from now during the club activities. I have already gotten you enrolled as a member there." Rias just calmly told him that his freedom is seized from him, but it didn't bother him too much as he really doesn't have any plans to carry out during school time.

He got up and started to change his clothes, and got dressed up, cooked themselves a meal before leaving for school after locking the apartment.

The rest of the day was best described as plain, except two noteworthy things. The first being, many students jumping to conclusions that he had started dating Rias, seeing them coming to school together. He can't really blame then as that what it looks on surface.

He got many classmates coming around and questioning him and specially the trio bothered him, though Issei didn't say much except tease him a bit as he knew the reason behind this after all.

The second thing was Sona calling him, though it was indirectly as Saji came to get him. He was being so cocky and talking shit which made him pretty irritated. He knows he has a cursh on Sona, earlier he was thinking of helping him as he couldn't get much development in the anime but not, that's far from what he plans.

He was currently on his way to the student council room, as Sona was the president so she obviously stayed there and called him there. He had ask a few students for directions though as he didn't knew the way but managed to reach to soon after.

He walked in and was immediately met with Sona and her peerage. They were all standing guard in the room, compared to Rias and her peerage, this treatment was pretty different, he wondered why though.

"Who are you and what business do you have here?" Sona voice sounded loud and clear in the closed room, but Ryuu only got confused on her question.

"What do you mean who I am? I am Ryuu and you called me here in the first place." He replied back, he wondered did she go insane or something.

"You were clearly a human before but now I clearly tell that isn't the case anymore. I also digged some information on you and found change in your behavior recently. It would be better for you to come clean."

He was too concenrated on Sona that he didn't know that Saji had sneaked behind him. He grabbed her completely which got his attention, having his movement restricted. He also saw her bishop coming to tackle him. She looked plenty cute but he didn't remember her name.

"Wait a minute, what the hell am I thinking right now?" He cursed inwardly before trying to hit Saji with his elbow which worked like a charm as he felt he was able to move his body freely.

He quickly dashed formed towards the white headed girl, whoever she was, before giving her the time to react and grabbing her and pinning her down with her hands behind her back, flat on the ground. He didn't even look at her while carrying out the action.

He did it as it felt it was natural for him, instead his focus was on the other members of the peerage. Also he wasn't holding her too tightly subconsciously, maybe in the fear of hurting her.

As the scene unfolded infront of them, two girls immediately dashed at him, they were Sona's knight? Bishop? He wasn't sure but before they aporoached him, Sona ordered to stop and they did so but didn't drop their guard.

"Even if you can beat them one on one, you wouldn't be able to get away as you already know we aren't the only devils here. So let's sit and down and talk like normal peoples."

Sona suggested him, she might be lying and it might be a trap, but for all he knows, she is right, he won't be able to escape if he did something to her or her peerage, and he didn't had a interest in having a Satan on his tail, though he would die before given a chance if she got serious.

He released the white headed who was beneath him, she got up after he loosened his grip and dusted herself off before getting back into position. He also looked at Saji who had grabbed him earlier.

He was shocked to see his condition, he was lying unconscious behind him as Sona's queen was taking care of him. He didn't knew that he has been strengthened to this extent, to knock a devil unconscious with just a single hit.

He calmed and walked towards Sona, ingnoring the helpless Saji, although he couldn't say that he wasn't amused to see his condition. He sat down in front of her, seperated by the desk in between before Sona began to speak.

"I will get straight down to the point, I want to recruit you to my peerage. I also would like to know your real indentity."

Sona wants to recruit him into her peerage, but sadly for her, he already has his own peerage. If he remembers correctly, she plan on winning her freedom through a rating game and cancel the marriage as she is also engaged to someone.

I can't do anything as of now, but I will try to help her if possible. It would be nice to make the sister of a satan owe me one. He will look into it later if he gets chance to go into the underworld in the future.

"Sorry I don't have plans on joining a peerage as of now, my identity is exactly as you know. You can ask Rias about me, if you are still suspicious."

"It seems like you won't waver, then how how about a game of chess before you leave?" She gave up as, if Rias is involved then it is enough to vouch for him. She will just talk to her later and figure what's up this guy.

"I don't mind, but don't you want to marry the person who beats you in a game of chess? I think it would be problematic for you considering you are engaged." Ryuu passed of a comment with a small laugh.

This made Sona surprised, not many people outside of her clan knows about the engagement so how come he knows it. She knows it very well that he won't spill the beans so it isn't smart to purse the topic.

"How about this, we will play another time, if maybe you can manage to break off the engagement. Then I will definitely make you mine, alright?" Ryuu thought she was wondering about the marriage so he joked while leaving her behind and walked out.

Sona didn't stop him as he was surprised seeing the confidence he showed, as if it was certain that he could beat her. It caught her interest, she would definitely love a game with him someday.

Ryuu walked towards clubroom as intructed by Rias after getting out of the student council room. It didn't take long for him to reach it.

He opened the door and walked in and felt the atmosphere of the room was a bit heavy. There was only Rias and Koneko, and Rias was clearly busy and had an unpleasant expression. The rest were no where to be seen right now.

He took a seat next to Koneko who was eating snacks as always. He couldn't resist the urge and took one of the cookies out, and tasted it. It felt delicious, he really like sweet stuff, though in a limit.

Koneko who was enjoying her private time, watched the person who interrupted her without invitations and even started eating her snacks. She shifted the bowl a bit towards him to make it easier to eat, after seeing him enjoy the cookie.

Ryuu who finished eating saw what she did, he looked so adorable right now that he wanted to just pet her. He might be considering a lot of things before taking any decisions but he was only a human in the end.

He couldn't control his urge and pet her, whenever he sees her, he subconsciously imagine her in Shirone mode, with the tail and ears out. The moment he placed his hand on her head and started rubbing it, he felt a blissful feeling.

The feeling of touching something extremely soft was being transmitted to his brain. He closed his eyes and enjoyed the smoothness, the soft texture of her hair to his hearts content.

He rubbed her exactly the he used to pet her cat in previous life, whether it was intentional or not, that was uncertain, but what was certain that someone was definitely enjoying the head pat.

She immediately punched him the moment he placed his hands on her but to her suprise, he didn't react, and continued with the rub. In just a few moments, she felt her body feeling weaker.

The sensations was too strong for her to handle, she can't remember the last time someone patted her so she also choose to enjoy it and didn't struggle, though she did resist her urge to purr.

Ryuu opened his eyes after playing with her hair and saw Koneko sitting there with a faint glow on her cheeks and ears with closed eyes, clearly enjoying his stroking.

She looked extremely cute right now, he wondered how cute would she look if she really grew her tail and ears out right now. He wanted to hug her pretty badly but it wouldn't be good as she doesn't trust people much after the incident with her sister.

He decided not to push his luck and continued stroking her to ease her off, he didn't notice when but she started to get drowsy and finally gave out completely, falling asleep while his lap as a pillow.

He wonder, how would she react after she wakes up remembering what happened. He didn't wake her up and let her rest as she definitely looked tired to fall asleep here and she looked pretty comfortable sleeping, it would definitely a sin to disturb her.

The time flew by slowly, he continued to sit on the couch while giving Koneko a lap pillow until Rias came towards him, after finishing off her work and asked if he wants to go home.

He nodded but then glanced at his lap, wondering what to do with her. Rias didn't think too much and created a magic circle which directly opened inside his bedroom, he was surprised just a bit to see how convenient magic really is.

He stopped his thoughts before he starts wondering random stuffs and placed Koneko on the bed before walking out with Rias, leaving her alone in the bedroom to sleep comfortably.

A/n : I seriously wonder what the hell I wrote in this chapter. The chapter seemed fun to write though atleast, I guess I got too focused on the waifus? Not sure tbh.

I hope you continue to read my story, it's been fun trying to write my own story till now, I wonder when will Ryuu get his first peerage member and I would love to hear your guesses. ( Hint : The character is female and belongs to high school dxd )
