46 So, it's true

Michael listened to his words and nodded. Even though he doesn't want to accept, he still wished Michal knew who he was.

"You should go back to your room." Michael patted his forehead and got up to leave. If he stayed there more, he would not be able to stop himself from hugging his son and telling the truth. He should leave, he had no right to come back after years and tell him he was their father. He still doesn't know what is wrong with Michal. If he wants to correct everything, he should find Sara and ask for her explanation.

Michal saw his father leaving, he wanted to call out for him but his stubbornness didn't let him to. He clasped his finger into a fist, biting his lower lips.

He glanced at the leaving silhouette of his father. He urged me to run and hug him but he didn't want to. He hates it. He was sure their father didn't want them but he still hoped one day he would accept them.

Michael walked out to take some fresh air. After what happened today, he can't think of anything anymore. He even himself doesn't know what he is doing. He was just messed up. He waited in the lounge, not knowing what to do or where to go. He sat there, rubbing his eyes and hoping for a miracle.

"Michael." A voice called out from behind. Michael found the voice familiar and out of curiosity, she turned back to see who it was.

He was surprised it was none other than Rayn.

He got up from the place and walked up towards him. It was the first time he met Rayn after the accident with Quin, he just disappeared.

No one knew what happened to Rayn. They just knew he retired from his post and never appeared in public. Some said he was heartbroken after the death of Quin, while some said he went away with Quin to live peacefully. At that time Michael didn't care anything about anyone.

Even though he lost Sara that time, in front of him he didn't care about anything. Sara made him go crazy. It took him years to finally work like usual. It was then he promised to never think of her or any girl, just work.

Rayn smiles happily, hugging him. Michael didn't show many reactions but still tried to remain calm.

"So it's true?" Ryan said to himself which caught Michael's attention, he couldn't help himself from questioning, "What's true?"

Rayn saw a puzzled look on Michael's face, "When I was going to the washroom today, I saw Sara but I thought I was mistaken but after seeing I am sure." Rayn explained it out, shrugging his hand.

Michael's face turned alive on hearing Rayn's news. It was the first time he bought something good for him.

Michael holds onto Rayn's arm and stared at him, "Where did you saw her?" He asked excitedly, almost scaring Rayn.

"First room in the VIP ward, third floor," Rayn said pointing his finger, confused about what's going on.

"Thank you." Michael thanked him as soon as he finished talking and ran in the direction he showed. Rayn was more baffled by what's happening, but he was left unattended. He only remains confused, before returning back to Quin's ward.

Michael ran faster than ever, it took him only a few minutes to reach the ward. He took a deep breath to calm himself and then knocked on the door.

No one answered, after waiting for some time he walked in only to see Sara laying there unmoved. Michael his heart dropped on seeing that.

How many times did he wish that she would die? But now that she was there laying on the hospital bed unmoved, he was scared. He was scared something would happen to her.

He doesn't want to accept.

"No, it was not true." He said as he walked in, kneeling beside the bed holding her cold hand. His heart was shaking, afraid of what happened to her. He wished that nothing happened to her. He can't let her die like that. She still had a chance that she was alive.

They still got a lot of things to do. Their kids waiting for her. No, she can't die.
