1 Prologue

My minds blank, no thoughts are coming to me. It's raining, dark, searing pain and the taste of blood. What happened? My body is sore and why is there a body on top of me....

Fall semester has started at the Academy. Noise from the hustle and bustle of students running around campus fill the air. The crisp smell of damp forest and cold air wrap around me like a smothering blanket. I hate school. Rubbing my temples, I fix my hair , throw my backpack over my shoulder and make my way down the path to the Chemistry Hall.

I suppose I should give you an introduction as to who I am . Parker Taylor

1st year at Mountian Ridge Academy of Science ,all Male University, Chemistry Major

5 ft 9.5 in 165 lbs

Parents are scientists working for NASA and are not home. Ever.

Yup been a loner from the start. Rich family that can dump their one and only child off at any damn school they want so others can raise them. Despite all that I think I've raised myself well. I left my parents home after high school and bought my own land with my own money down in the valley. Built my own cabin off the grid and became a self sustainable person. But I made a promise to myself I'd finish school and have something to fall back on. So here we are, first Day of College..... woohoo. I get to be alone again...great.
