The bell rang and students rushed into their classes to escape bad report for late coming. Jasmine was already sitting down on her sit as she was soon kept company as Ethan walked into the class. He paused as he saw her, "Hey..Good morning"

"Good morning, jasmine said standing up to leave the class but she tripped and fell down.

"Are you okay?…,He said rushing to her to help her up.

"You bruised your leg, come I'll help you to the infirmary"

"Don't worry about me I can go by myself, she said trying to stand up but falls back to the ground"

"I told you to always depend on me, I don't know why you always reject my help everytime so please just this once let me help you"

Jasmine looked at him and her heart felt light because it was the first time someone had said that to her, she nodded letting him help her.

"Thank you, she said"

He smiled and helped her up walking her to the door but students started rushing into the class including rose. Rose looked furious seeing Ethan with her so called step sister.

"What's wrong with your leg?,Alexander said rushing inside to jasmine.

"I fell"

"Let me help you to the infirmary"

Ethan stopped him from coming closer, "can't you see that I am already taking her there.

Everyone could feel the tension among them. Alexander looked at him and for the first time Jasmine saw a look as scary as hell in Alexander face, she gripped onto Ethan.

"Eth..Ethan take me to the infirmary, jasmine said"

"Let's go, Ethan said".

***** Ethan POV****

As I helped her to the infirmary I couldn't help but notice that she had a confused look and also lost in her thoughts.

"What's wrong?, I asked as I helped her to the bed walking to get the first aid kit.

"Nothing I just feel uneasy… this is the first time I have seen Alexander….she paused looking as if she had said a lot.

"You know you could talk to me..,I said cleaning her wound.

"You know I can do this by myself…ouch!!"

"I'm sorry, I said as I blew her injured spot.

As I helped her clean her bruise, I felt the need to ask her what happened on the night that I first saw her.

"I don't want to sound like I am interfering but what really happened the night that I first saw you, I said ready for her to tell me not the interfer in her business.

"I almost got raped , she shouted out and tears began to flow from her eyes.

"Isn't this what you wanted to hear?"

"Raped, I said in my mind"

I slowly wiped her tears with my shirt and patted her back "I am an idiot for making you remember such a painful event"

"Thank you"

I was shocked because this was the first time that she didn't looked annoyed or irritated by me, it made me smile. "Whenever you are feeling really down or need someone to talk to…I'm here"

She smiled, "I always thought you were a jerk from the first day I met you in this school but you are a nice person… thank you".

I felt my cheeks turn red and I quickly stood up to hide my face.."let's head back to class".

As we opened the door, the teacher was already teaching and she looked at us and said "I heard you fell, sorry but you guys are the only remaining persons who haven't been paired for your class project, you guys are to pair up for this assignment"
