Chapter 28: You'll Beg to See Me

At first, Lucy had planned to get off work early and go home. When she saw the car, she changed her mind.

Lucy waited till 8 p.m. and only left the office after seeing the Bentley drive off.

"Did you come out so late because you wanted to avoid me?" His voice was as cold as ice.

Lucy was startled when she saw Arthur leaning against the wall with a cigarette between his fingers. His handsome face was hidden in the darkness, and she couldn't see his expression clearly.

She wanted to ask him why he was still there, but she changed her mind at the very last minute. "Yes."

She really didn't want to see him!

Arthur straightened up and walked to her. His gaze was icy and there was a hidden look of pain in his eyes.

Lucy looked up at him directly. Since she had decided to break up with him, then she wouldn't get involved with him again!

"Lucy, you'll beg to see me!" He gripped her chin hard.
