I Let You Go

The vehicle swiftly arrived at the hospital, and he, cradling the person in his arms, dashed into the emergency room. 

Upon receiving a direct line call, the Hospital Director immediately rushed down, promptly escorting the unconscious patient into the resuscitation room. 

Once again, Casiano found himself seated on the icy floor, staring at the tightly shut door, his entire being felt as though it had been soul-drained, devoid of all sensation. 

It wasn't until the Director emerged from within that he slowly lifted his gaze, his eyes fixed on the man in the white lab coat. 

"Mr. Davies, you needn't worry. It's merely malnutrition and excessive fatigue that caused the sudden unconsciousness. There's nothing serious." 

Upon hearing this, Casiano's numb heart began to regain a touch of awareness... 

He raised his gaze to the Director, "And everywhere else…?"
