Strange feeling

After watching the sunrise with Tristan, Ashley felt a strange feeling building in her heart. She kept glancing at Tristan now and then and felt that strange feeling that gave butterflies inside her stomach.

'Was it possible to fall for someone that soon' she asked herself because the way she had started to feel for Tristan was something she had never imagined?

Sitting inside the mini restaurant she took a sip from her black tea while her eyes looked at Tristan who was busy with his phone. After heading down from the cliff they decided to have some morning tea before the head back to the resort.

"What is he so busy looking at?" she snorted rolling her eyes and drinking her tea.

She was getting used to his constant stare and felt odd when he didn't look at her.

'Was she going crazy' she thought and saw him put back the cellphone into his pocket.

He looked at Ashley and saw her grumpy face which made him confused," What happened to her" he thought and picked up his cup bringing it to his mouth.

" What you want to do today.." he asked licking his lower lips which made Ashley hold her breath.

'God this man.. he surely knows how to turn me on' gulping at his sexy move she saw his Adam apple pop in and out that making her body heat.

She moved on her chair a little straightening her back and fanned her face. Ashley knew if this keeps happening soon she will find herself burning with fever.

"Are you feeling hot?" Tristan's concerned fill voice broke her thought and she looked at him in a daze.

"Oh.. no it's just the tea that's heating my body," she said and averted her gaze from him.

Tristan who found her acting strange ignore her behavior and they soon left back to the resort.

Sitting inside her changing room Jane went through the pictures she posted of herself and Greg on her social media account. They both were liked by their fans and that made her more confident believing that it was only her who was the best partner for Greg.

"I knew it from the beginning that Greg belonged with me and not with Ashley" she smirked and kept back her phone.

Just the door to her room opened and her assistant rushed in with a worried face.

" What happened?" she asked when she saw her pant.

"Ma'am the PR team wants to cancel the shoot," she said making Jane frown.

"How can they do this after making me the cover model" she stood up with anger and storm out of the room.

It was unethical of them to cancel the shoot after taking her on board. She had worked so hard just to get herself to sign up for the Joss cover magazine. Some so many models fighting to get on the list but it was her who beat everyone then how can they stop the shoot at the last moment.

Stepping out Jane looked around and saw the clearing of the space. She was about to walk towards the manager's room when she hearts to spot the girl muttering," I didn't know she had an affair with Greg even when he was in relation with Ashley" one girl muttered.

"Even I couldn't believe it but who knows what these big people are capable doing of," the other one said and stopped when she saw Jane glaring at them with pure anguish

Looking at her furious face made them run from there saving their lives before she could do anything.

Jane who heard them bad-mouthing her made her anger raise more and she storm out from there without meeting the manager.

Her assistant Ren who saw her walk out followed her until they reached the parking lot of the building.

Jane stepped inside the van and started removing the accessories she wore in anger. She pulled her hair in frustration slamming the armrest of the car's seat in anger.

"How dare they replace me..." fisting her palm she digs her nails deep into her skin until blood ooze out.

"This is all because of Ashley... How can she win everyone's heart even after having a bad reputation"

Jane who wanted to make Ashley pay for snatching everything from her from the beginning felt like she had finally made her fall on her face when she snatched Greg away. But she was wrong.. even if she destroyed her love life there were still many who sympathize with her.

Ren who was sitting next to her flinch when she saw her boss acting like a manic. She had been with Jane for a long time and she knew Jane liked to put this mask of innocence on her face just to grab attention.

She even made Greg fall for her seduction because she couldn't handle the fact that the man she adore was someone else's boyfriend.

Looking at her strange yet scary behavior Ren didn't voice her thought and kept quiet because she knew this twisted woman wouldn't hold back to harm her.

Knight mansion

Grace was sitting inside her room with a deep frown marred on her forehead. She had been brainstorming her mind just guessing why hasn't heard back from Richard about Ashley's response on the matchmaking setup.

Even though Tristan told her that he didn't want to force Ashley to accept him just because their parents knew each other. He wanted her to come to like him just the way he like her.

But even after making herself understand his words she still couldn't calm her running thought. She wanted her son to be happy and his happiness resides in Ashley.

"What are busy pondering your thought at?" Trevor asked who sat next to her trying to read her expression which changed several times within a minute.

Grace was pulled out from her thought when she heard his voice and turned to face him," Honey do you think Ashley didn't like Tristan?" she asked with her concerned-filled voice.

Trevor who knew his wife always had a soft spot for her elder son because he wasn't someone who liked to discuss his thoughts with anyone. Even when he was preparing him for the CEO's position, Tristan never once objected to his decision and followed his every word.

It was hard to know what he thought because he never showed it on his face and sometimes it worried them.

Letting out a sigh he held her hand and said," Grace you need to trust our son. If he said he wouldn't force her then he would make her fall for him" Trevor said with pride because he knew Tristan wouldn't be back this time when he finally got the chance to court his lady love.

Grace didn't think that way when Tristan had talked to her. How can she forget her son had finally found the one for him and he won't back down unless he makes Ashley fall in love with him.

She had faith in her son and she knew the day will come soon when Ashley would become her daughter-in-law.

Tristan's suite

Standing by the window frame Tristan made a call," Is everything been taken care of" his voice emotionless asked Karl on the other end of the call.

"Yes, boss the company has already replaced Miss Jane, and soon their PR team will get Miss Brown on board" Karl answered.

"Good make sure no one talks rubbish about Ashley. I don't want her to land in unnecessary scandal" he instructed and ended the call.

Tristan had come to learn about Jane's manipulative behavior which she used to tarnish Ashley's image. The news portrayed Ashley to be a cunning and arrogant lady because this so-called friend of hers was badmouthing her behind her back.

He didn't know if Ashley was aware of it or not but now that he knew he wasn't going to rest that cheater in peace.

They had messed with the wrong person when they decided to use Ashley for their benefits and now he was going to make them regret their every action which hurt his women.

Turning back he walked in to take the shower before he step out.

Ashley wanted to explore the resort rather than go in out which he found great. They haven't got the chance to see the entire premises yet and today was the best day.

Getting himself ready he stepped out of his suit and was about to ring the bell to Ashley's room but stopped when his phone buzzed.

It was Ashley who had asked him to come down where she was waiting for him in the gaming room.

Rushing to the gaming room which was specifically built for the visitor to enjoy their vacant time playing indoors.

Reaching the game zone his eyes searched the one woman who tended to make him dance on her finger stood at the corner of the room where she held the pool stick and waved her hand when she saw him.

"Over here.." she yelled with a smile pestering on her lips and saw Tristan walk towards her.
