532 Gavin's dilemma

Ashley's face turned grim when Tristan started whining. Unable to handle his childishness, Ashley slapped his arm in distress.

"Tristan, I am serious. Why can't you for once keep your complaints aside and listen to me" 

Tristan pouted his lips watching her scold him and said," Okay, now please don't get upset. I promise I won't whine" This time he was serious.

Now that Tristan pondered over her words, he found Ashley convincing. It was surprising to see their relationship grow in such a short time and it somewhat felt suspicious.

"Should I ask Gavin?" Tristan said.

"I don't think it's a good idea. It's like interfering too much in their lives. What if we are wrong and they do really like each other? We know nothing, right" Ashley refrained.

Ashley noticed how content Gavin looked when they talked about Jenny. She saw the genuine happiness in his eyes. 

Ashley may be wrong, but all she wanted was for Gavin to be happy.
