Charlie Swan has had enough.

"You have to stop pushing me away Bella, i'm your father!" I yelled, at the top of my lungs, "You've been obsessed with this kid, For months! and he bails out on you, and after everything you keep hiding things from me! And you've somehow became like this.. And you have a kid now?" I couldn't stop my voice from becoming sarcastic, after eveything Edward did the disappearing trick I tried everything to pull her out of that depressive state, and now she's here acting like nothing happened expecting me to go along with it.

"You know what? I'm done, you want to keep me out of your life so much? So be it, you have your wish."

[Bella POV]

Charlie walked towards the door opened it up and got out, i didn't know what to say, it was true i never liked forks, neither did i want to be here, but maybe i had hurt Charlie more than i realize, as i looked at Carlisle and Edward, they had their head down, Carlisle in particular looked ashamed.

Was i to blame for all that happened?

[Carlisle POV]

I couldn't say anything, as a Father myself i understood Charlie Swan, but i had to be biased towards my family, but nevertheless justified my actions may be, i still felt ashamed, as i felt Esme's hands squeezing mine, i tried to give a smile that looked reassuring, but it didn't come out as i hoped.

[Charlie Narrator]

In aftermath, a few months passed with no contact from Bella it sucked, knowing your daughter doesn't even want to talk to you, but i wanted to stop doubting myself, feeling like shit everytime she would wake up in cold sweat through her nightmares, staring blankly at nowhere, doing dangerous things, and if my hunch is correct just to get Edward's attention.

I hated it, but i wanted to be there for her but i don't want to go through these things again, and fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on you, and fool me thrice shame on me, as i thought that i hit the gas pedal, going 80 miles per hour, i didn't even know where i was going, i just wanted to be somewhere less depressing.

When i was passing-by, i saw a bar 'Clam Shell' or some other tacky ocean related name it was i didn't pay much attention, i got inside, it wasn't crowded neither was it empty, a few people here and there i just ordered a beer, but my eyes caught a lady looking like she came out of a victoria's secret beauty competition, and she particularly looked similar to Cullen's,

Pale skin, weird eyes, her skin almost shined in this place, some were taking not-so-subtle glances, and her small smirk made me aware of it, after another sip i was going to get out of here, but our eyes met.

And it was like a dream, suddenly gravity did not hold me down but it was her, and everything on earth became unimportant as we gravitated towards each other, and she gripped my hand as i gripped hers, i stealthily checked her pulse there was none, but i couldn't bring myself to care, and she said, "Now that you are done checking my pulse, wanna get to know each other handsome?" I didn't know if it was because i got caught, or the bold invite, i find myself blushing, but i was no damsel, so i just nodded and we held each other close like we wanted to melt into each other, the bystanders sitting at the bar had their eyes agape at this, i for one didn't care and as we got into my truck, she caressed my thigh, and licked her lips, which made me gulp.

[General POV]

As Charlie was busy, outsiders couldn't help but point at a shaking police car, some made some sex-jokes, some laughed loudly, and then went on their marry way, this was America, and a cop getting some was no crime.
