2 Heavenly Phoenix Constitution Awakened

Yang Ling and the golden sword ventured deeper into the cave. Yang Ling saw many corpses laying on the ground as she continued walking deeper and deeper into the cave. She narrowed her eyes at the corpses and thought to herself. "What the hell happened here? Why are there so many corpses laying on the ground?"

Yang Ling decided to ask the sword spirit about the corpses: "Why are there so many corpses on the ground? What the hell happened here?" The golden sword stopped in the air, and after a few moments, Yang Ling heard the sword spirit voice in her head: "By observing the corpses, I can tell that they fought some monster beasts and were killed by them."

"Monster Beasts?" Yang Ling looked at the corpses again, but this time in shock. The golden sword shone, and the sword spirit appeared before Yang Ling again, nodding her head at her. "That is correct; there are many races you will encounter in your cultivation journey, and the monster beasts are just one of them." To put it simply, the monster beasts are a race that looks different than the human race; they come in different shapes, sizes, and forms; some of them have claws; and most of them have fangs. They all follow different cultivation methods than humans; they either follow the cultivation methods that are recorded in their inherent memories or follow the bloodline cultivation path."

Yang Ling was amazed when she heard the sword spirit explanation, and she glanced at the corpses again, but this time she had a wide smile on her face. "This world is really incredible; I can't wait to meet these monster beasts." The sword spirit smiled when she saw Yang Ling smiling widely. "This girl is very interesting. When I finally reunite with Master, I hope she will take her as a disciple.

The sword spirit then said to Yang Ling, "Let's not waste any more time. The sooner we awaken your constitution, the sooner you start walking on the cultivation path." After hearing what the sword spirit said, Yang Ling nodded at her, and the sword spirit returned to the golden sword. Both Yang Ling followed the golden sword, then went deeper into the cave.

After ten minutes of walking, both Yang Ling and the golden sword arrived in front of a yellow lake that was filled with small yellow crystal shards.

After they arrived in front of the lake, the golden sword shone brightly, and the sword spirit came out of it. The sword spirit then looked at Yang Ling and said to her, "This is the Crystal Yellow Lake that I told you about; all you need to do is submerge your whole body in the lake water, and your body will start absorbing the lake water by itself."

When Yang Ling heard the sword spirit's words, she looked at her with doubt in her eyes. Seeing Yang Ling's doubtful expression, the sword spirit began to explain to her what will happen when she submerges in the Crystal Yellow Lake: "When you submerge your whole body in the Crystal Yellow Lake, your body will start absorbing the lake water by itself. The lake water you absorbed will tear and reconstruct every cell in your body. This process is quite painful because tearing and reconstruction happen simultaneously in your body cells. Once you complete this process, not only will you awaken your Heavenly Phoenix Constitution, but your martial talent will also improve."

Yang Ling nodded her head in understanding, and she started to undress herself. After she stripped off her white dress and her undergarments, she walked to the Crystal Yellow Lake, and with every step she took, her plump, round breast bounced up and down.

When she arrived in front of the Crystal Yellow Lake, she submerged her whole body in the lake water.

Yang Ling started feeling ripples all over her jade-like skin as her body started absorbing the water of the Crystal Yellow Lake.

Yang Ling started feeling a tremendous amount of pain as the lake water penetrated her skin, tore her muscles, broke her bones, and got deep into her marrow. The lake water simultaneously destroyed and reconstructed every cell in her body. She endured the pain by gritting her teeth.

The sword spirit was hovering over the lake. She was dumbfounded at what she was witnessing. Yang Ling was absorbing the lake water with incredible speed and was not stopping any time soon. She had absorbed a quarter of the lake water by now.

The sword spirit was very impressed at Yang Ling's absorption speed, and she mumbled to herself, "Incredible. Master once told me that those born with heavenly constitutions were highly talented and loved by the heavens, and Yang Ling's absorption speed of the Crystal Yellow Lake demonstrated her exceptional talent.

"RUMBLE, RUMBLE" Yang Ling's body shocked violently, and then the speed of Yang Ling's absorption of the lake water doubled. After three minutes, she had already absorbed more than half of the lake water.

The sword spirit was stunned at what she was witnessing, and she said loudly, "This Crystal Yellow Lake is a low rank compared to the ones I saw in the Immortal World; it is impossible to double someone's talent. What is going on?" 

It took Yang Ling only twenty minutes to completely absorb the Crystal Yellow Lake. 

"RUMBLE, RUMBLE." Yang Ling's body shook violently again, and then an oily black substance was expelled from her body. She was covered from head to toe by this oily black substance.

After her body finished expelling the oily black substance, her body shook violently one more time. "RUMBLE, RUMBLE." Yang Ling then heard a loud phoenix cry in her head: "SCREEEEEEECH." After the phoenix cry died down, a beautiful golden flame covered her curvaceous body.

The sword spirit smirked when she saw this and said to herself, "The Heavenly Phoenix Constitution is awakening."

Yang Ling's body was healing from all its broken bones and torn muscles; even the injury she received in her abdomen by the assassins started to heal with incredible speed. It didn't take long for Yang Ling's body to heal completely.

After Yang Ling was healed completely, the golden flames that covered Yang Ling died down. A huge dark cloud appeared above the entire Silver Mountains Range when the golden flames that covered Yang Ling died down. All the people on the Shooting Star Continent looked in the direction of the Silver Mountains Range when they saw dark clouds covering it.

Across The Shooting Star Continent 

All the cultivators in Clear Rose Town were looking at the huge, dark clouds hovering above the entire Silver Mountains Range. One of the cultivators asked his companion, who was standing next to him, "Is it the birth of a new treasure?" His companion shocks his head: "I'm not sure, brother Liu, but I suggest we quickly go and investigate; if it was the birth of a new treasure and we didn't go, we might miss a great opportunity.".

Liu nodded his head towards his companion, and then both of them started rushing towards the Silver Mountains Range as fast as they could. When the other cultivators who were watching the dark cloud saw them rushing towards the Silver Mountains Range, they too followed them to investigate this phenomenon.

The same conversation was happening all over the continent, and many cultivators, sect elders, and sect disciples rushed towards the Silver Mountains Range to investigate the possible birth of a new treasure.

Suddenly, all the cultivators who were rushing towards the Silver Mountains Range froze when they felt a strong, holy sensation coming from the black clouds. They looked at the black clouds when they felt the holy sensation. After a few moments, they all saw a huge golden phoenix come out of the black clouds. The phoenix was as big as the black clouds. Its feathers were golden in colour, and its eyes were dark crimson red. It was flying proudly in the sky.

The sect elders widen their eyes when they saw the huge golden phoenix, and one of the elders starts mumbling in a disbelieving tone, "It is the birth of a special constitution; no doubt about it." When all the elders, cultivators, and sect disciples heard what the elder said, their eyes glowed in excitement, especially the sect elders, but they all froze again when they heard the golden phoenix cry laudably, "SCREEEEEEEECH.".

When the golden phoenix screeched, the holy sensation that they were feeling before skyrocketed, and this sensation spread throughout the continent. It made all the commoners want to kneel down and worship the golden phoenix.

After the phoenix screech died down, the phoenix disappeared, along with the black clouds.

Everybody was stunned at what they just saw. After they regained their composure, all of them rushed towards the Silver Mountains Range at their top speed.

One of the sect elders looked at his fellow sect elders while they were rushing to the Silver Mountains Range and said to them, "We need to find the owner of the special constitution as soon as possible and before the other sects do." They all nodded their heads at him and continued rushing towards the Silver Mountains Range.

All the different sect elders were having the same conversations with their fellow sect elders, and they were all determined to retrieve the owner of the special constitution so their own sect could rise to a new height in the future.

Inside the cave, Yang Ling's skin started to fall piece by piece, and a new skin took its place. The new skin is smoother than the old skin. After five minutes, Yang Ling stood up, and the sword spirit smiled at her. She asked Yang Ling, "How do you feel?"

Yang Ling smiled back and told her, "I feel great." I can't describe it. I feel like I have been born again. Also, I feel like nothing is blocking me any more."

The sword spirit nodded at her and said, "Good, this is the effect of awakening your heavenly constitution." I will explain everything to you later, but for now, listen closely; we need to leave this cave as soon as possible." Yang Ling was surprised and asked, "Why?" The sword spirit started explaining, "Because of the phenomenon that you caused when you awakened your constitution, I will explain everything to you after we leave, but first dress up quickly."

Yang Ling nodded, and she started to dress up. After dressing up, the sword spirit said, "Don't forget to collect the space rings from all the corpses." Yang Ling looked at the sword spirit inquisitively. "Space rings?" The sword spirit nodded. "The corpses are wearing rings on their fingers." These are special rings. I will explain everything when we are out of here."

Yang Ling nodded, walked towards the corpses, and began removing all the rings from their fingers.

The sword spirit quickly returned to the golden sword, which then flew towards Yang Ling's hand. Yang Ling grabbed the sword from its hilt, and then she heard the sword spirit's voice in her head: "Let's go." Yang Ling nodded to the sword spirit, and she left the cave as quickly as she could.
