1 Another Reality (Nostalgia)
"Backpfeifengesicht?" Brown short hair and basic green eyes, the student wearing a jacket version of the school's uniform reached over a white-smoke haired boy.
"Oho~, Drax, where's your transmigration partner? Didn't think its possible for you to be 5 feet apart.", Shinji stops, ignoring the blatant use of his last name, and turns to Drax Vasiliev while retaliating with words of his own.
"E-erm, don't be like that. The talk about soul and body age aside, although we died at the same way, we didn't cross over the same way...", Drax scrunches his eyebrows, having been worried about Kaitlynn's experience going through not one but 2 deaths, and a traumatic and tortuous childhood.
"...", Shinji looks over Drax who seems sad. Well, it was understandable since Drax had it better than her, who reincarnated and was well-raised by a loving father and mother. "She's alright now. About you being here, it should be important right?", He changed the subject.
"I was thinking if you could help failsafe. Kaitlynn is planning to take down one of her father's facilities which is about 100 or so parsecs away. Although its still inside the galaxy, I'm worried something might... you know."
"Don't worry, I have save files just for this. I can be your wingman on that date~", Shinji smiles to Drax assuringly.
"Thanks... WHAT?!", Drax twisted his head towards Shinji in stark embarrassment.
"Of course bud~, I'm sure you can hit it out with her while you both travel there. It's all about the process~", Shinji's slick tongue spout out confidence for his friend with an attitude of looking out for the latter.
"Yeah...I was hoping we could hang out of the academy and I thought this was an opportunity.", Drax leans his back on the wall and sighs.
"Wait, you're actually serious?", Shinji turns a 180 in attitude but kept a teasing smile.
"...Y-you were just joking?", Drax blinks in disbelief.
"Bye~", Shinji ditched.
"Get back here!!!", Drax immediately chases after Shinji summoning a complex mechanism, looking like a futuristic arm railgun. lightning coursed and caused a neon lights display on the dark and silver metal design. No, rather it was one that was more akin to energy exploding within the mechanical vessel. Nuclear Energy! Metal clamps appear on his feet too, to stay on ground.

"!!!", Shinji eyes widen and directs his hands toward the gun.

The gun shot out with enormous force. An atomic blast that pushed backed and caused chaos in the hallways. Innocent students felt a push against themselves and flowing through their clothes; Jackets catch on their faces and skirts lift while papers fly and things scatter on the ground.

Immediately, everyone was back in their places with the chaos gone except for 3 things. Drax with a massive energy sword on his right hand and high propulsions on his back, Shinji who no-clipped through the door at the end of the hall, and the atomic blast that dealt no destruction to the surroundings except for the slight push it causes to everything and anyone around it.
The blast dissipated and Drax flies through while his body glistens like lightning. He also passes through the door somehow, lightning clinging and coiling as he phased through like sinking in quicksand.
A chase ensues and continued through the academy's walls, one trying to lose the other by no-clipping and changing directions, while the other kept following and somehow 'seeing' where the former went.
Fortunately, they were ordered NOT to destroy the school grounds... among many, many other troublesome students.
Wind whizzed by the forks of lightning that specifically coiled and swerved towards Shinji. The person being targeted seemed unimpeded as he starts T-posing towards Drax while ignoring gravity and wind resistance, floating like a stolen meme.jpg being dragged from the internet.
"You sure you have the face to keep that up?", Drax stares deadpanned at the ridiculous sight of Shinji in the air, like he was in creative mode.
"Bite me!", Shinji starts rotating 360 degrees.
""Shinji!"" "Drax!", The two fighters turn to see three girls shouting out their names.
They were, Kaitlynn Emerson, Sirena Brise, and Dongmei von Shiraki
Sirena suddenly appears clinging tightly behind Shinji, which takes Shinji by surprise as he hadn't recovered from the dizzying revolutions.
"Whoa, whoa, Sirena~ be careful. I could have flung you on accident.", Shinji's momentum stops in concern for Sirena.
Dongmei stares right at Shinji and Sirena and in a stern voice orders, "Come down." Shinji complies.
"Freeze.", Dongmei whispers with authority stemming from her voice. The energy summoned up by Drax was rapidly plummeting, so he made his way to the floor in front of Kaitlynn. Only then did his summoned equipment freeze up and turn to broken ice shards and completely disappear.
"What were you both up to again?", Kaitlynn sighs for the umpteenth time. Lately, she's been going over her plans to travel to one of her father's secret research branch, specifically, the one presiding over the galaxy wherein Ygddrasil is situated in the middle.
Shinji snickers and speaks, "It nothing~, I was just teasing Drax over here because-"
"Yes! Its nothing really. You three are going to the girl's dorm, yes? We almost passed a restricted area! Boy, Vega might just have cut us down too. Anyway let's go Shinji, we still have to go to Epiales about downloading racial texture packs.", Drax interrupts and starts to leave.
Shinji whispered over to Dongmei and Sirena and gave them both pecks on the cheeks before turning to Kaitlynn "See ya Kate~", He then catches up to Drax. Sirena had a happy look on her face while Dongmei has a pleased smile.
"...", Kaitlynn stands quiet. She shakes her head as her shadows follows where she walks. She is caught up in her mind, at this moment, dealing with other things for now.
"This is the college life, am I right~?", Shinji elbows Drax lightly.
"I wanna punch your face in real badly right now."
