17. Christmas & Invisibility Cloak

Another 2 months flew by. I spent my time with my friends and researching potions that can potentially cancel lycanthropy. At first, like a generic wizard, I thought of cancelling the virus, then I realised that I was being contaminated by wizards stupidity. I mean, if I want to, I could make a potion to remove the virus, but it's too much work, and I'm quite lazy.

This lead me to researching on how to stop the virus from interacting with the moonlight. Anyway, my Anti-Lunar Potion is coming along nicely. It's gonna be a big hit in about a year. I'm also trying to figure out how technology can coexist with magic. Some fanfictions say that the house elves wash the technology which makes it unusable, that's complete rubbish.

Magic is a form of energy, so is electricity. If two different energies were found in the same object, they would become unstable. So magic is still very much scientific and it still follows rules. I just have to find those rules and bend it for myself.

The time I spent with my friends increased a little bit, because we were nearing the school break. I didn't notice at first, but I gradually realised that whenever I talk to Hermione, she always blushes while speaking.

Even though I swore to myself that I won't be like dense protagonists, I nearly ended up being one. So anyway, bookworm waifu, get!

Now, it's already school break and the snow is piling up. I can sometimes see Hagrid pulling chopped down trees. Most students are already gone, but some can still be seen getting ready to leave. Me and Harry were staying, Harry because he didn't want to go back, me because I found it interesting to stay.

Right now me and Harry were playing a game.

"Knight to E5." Harry called out as his Knight piece moved. I thought for a bit before answering.

"Queen to E5." My queen piece chaired the shit out of Harry's knight piece before a voice came from my side.

"That's totally barbaric!" Said Hermione. I just looked at her and smirked.

"That's wizards chess." She blushed before turning to Harry.

"I'll see you guys after the break, try not to get into another mess without me." And she walked away without paying me any attention.

"Not even a hug?" I called out.

She paused before coming back with a bright red face. She gave me a quick but awkward hug before doing the same to Harry and then walked away.

"Wait, did she just say 'without me'?" Harry asked. I just shrugged.

"It seems we're having a bad influence on her."

~Next Day~

I woke up at 5 AM to achieve my goal, yoinking the Cloak Of Invisibility. As soon as I woke up, I entered flash time and left behind a clone. Then I went towards the christmas tree and looked for a specific gift. I finally found it after a millisecond, which was about a few seconds for me.

I bought a near identical invisibility cloak, one that didn't lag behind in efficiency of the real Cloak Of Invisibility, from the Store. I then phased my hand through the wrapping paper, grabbed the Cloak Of Invisibility, phased it out while also replacing it with the new Cloak Of Invisibility.

Once completed, I linked my soul with the Cloak Of Invisibility. I immediately felt the connection, which was quite strong. I put the Cloak Of Invisibility into my Inventory. When I was done, I returned to my bed, replaced the clone and left flash time.

"Harry! Get up! You're uncle and aunt are here!" I shouted to Harry, who practically jumped out of bed from fright. He then realised that I was only playing with him.

"Sorry for the prank mate, but you got some presents too." I pointed to his stack of presents.

"I've got presents?" He looked at me with his mouth agape.

"Yeah, what are you waiting for. Open them." I told him as I went to my presents.

I don't need to pay attention, because its similar to canon. The gift I got from mom was a Quick-Answering Quill, very useful for lazy people like me. Aunt Andromeda and Uncle Ted sent me some sweets. Dora sent me pictures of her half naked, I sent those straight to my Inventory. I don't have any use for them... for now that is.

Daphne sent me a book about wizard politics, Neville sent me a book about rare magical plants, Susan sent me a book of advanced charms, Hermione sent me a book of interesting wizard facts and Selene sent me a her freshly worn panties... which I also stored for later use.

I sent mom some pictures of me during my time here so far. My mom is quite doting, so she'd happily collect any photo's of me. I sent Aunt Andromeda and Uncle Ted a part Kneazle cat. Dora got a book of ancient magic that could be useful during battles. Daphne got a book about muggle politics, Neville got a book about unusual magic plants, Susan got a book of ancient charms, Hermione got my homemade book about wizard stupidity and how it's contagious and Selene got a homemade cake from yours truly, because I honestly don't know what she'd want.

Later during the day, I went around giving presents to teachers and placing hidden pranks along the way. I gave Twinkledore socks that was full of powerful itchy powder that would only itch when I want it to. So if Dumbledork wears the socks for long enough, his feet should absorb a bit of the powder, which means that I can make him itch for as long as I want.

I anonymously sent Quirellmort a cupcake with the hottest chilli I could get. I obviously made sure I was near Quirellmort when he screamed for water while running down the corridor.

"Don't worry Professor Quirrell, I'll help you." I shouted as I pointed my wand at him.

"No! Wai-" I didn't let him finish.

"Aguamenti!" A jet of clear, cold water shot from the tip of my wand into Quirellmort's mouth. It didn't end there, the strength of the water was strong enough to throw Quirellmort by a few meters. He ended up smacking the back of his head against the wall, and he fell unconscious.

Unfortunately, I had to drag him to the hospital wing while trying to withstand the smell of rotten cheese coming off of him.

The twins were the only people to ever notice me pulling pranks, so we got along quite nice. We sometimes threw plans together for pranks and executed it.

Other than that, I spent my day playing with Harry, relaxing or just reading. I also got anonymous gifts, most of them were chocolates or sweets. Unsurprisingly, I found some love potions mixed in the stuff. I only ate them after making sure that I wouldn't get affected by the stuff. Thanks to my speedster powers, I can digest stuff at a much faster rate, so even if I'm affected by the potions, it won't last long.

Sometimes, I really love the speed force.
