The daunting lunch - II

 Maybe it was just Evelyn thinking like this but the house now had a different vibe than before. It felt more scary. 

Salvatore did not leave her head the entire time table walking towards the stairs and then climbed down. Arabella was standing with her nanny and the moment she saw her parents walk towards her, she raised her arms into their direction.

Without even giving her a chance to step towards the direction of her daughter, Salvatore stepped up and picked up the child. 

Evelyn watched as Arabella snuggled into the shoulder of her father before releasing a content Sigh. If that was not a sign from the universe, she didn't know what was.

They all sat on the dining table that was outside in the gardens. It was a good weather for brunch and the tree that overshadowed the dining table beneath it made the perfect location.
