Chapter 10 "A New Path"

It was time for him to step on a new path. No, that's wrong since one only steps on a new path when it's already there but for the case right now he has to pave a path himself.

He had cultivated countless systems. He stored energy obtained from the stars in his body and at the end of that system, he even put countless stars inside his body for direct usage of solar energy.

But this system had one major flaw, its greatest limitation. And that was, the stronger you will get if you absorb more stars but that caps the power to the stars no. in the whole of the universe. So this path can be only used as a helping hand but not as the main path.

His main body had already reached the peak of that system after devouring all of the stars in a desolated universe.

He traded the universe with its inhabitants for a suitable place to live. ETERNALS always made fun of him saying that what's the difference between him and them. He ignored their blabbering and followed his heart.

He didn't take life to gain power such was not the case for ETERNALS.

He had reached the peak of cultivation systems from his universe by his main body. But all of that is useless talk right now. Right now he had to concentrate on the new path.

He had formulated it long ago and rechecked the theory multiple times. Well, that's what you get after a countless millennium of crushing loneliness in the void. He could not put it into practice, absorbing the void while standing in the void itself was stupidity just like trying to lift the bed while sitting on it.

"THE NAMELESS PATH"

that's what he named it since its result still deluded him. If he can successfully practice it till the end then he will have a good chance of reaching the goal he had ventured out for.

The energy of void, the energy of chaos you name it. It's all the same but ETERNALS preferred to call it the untamed energy. It was unusable. Just like seawater when you row through the sea there will be water everywhere around you but not a drop to drink. Since drinking it will cause more harm than benefit.

Such was the case for this untamed energy. But he wasn't trying to tame it. Since he had already done it long ago turning chaos form to usable energy but when the process was complete this tamed energy was no different than the normal worldly energy just a bit purer.

No matter how many times he tried this chaos energy when become usable was no longer chaos energy. Since it loses its property of 'CHAOS'.

If one asks him what was one of the greatest pieces of artwork he would reply 'Universe wall' without thinking. There was no reason to think about this matter. The wall covering the whole of the universe was not the toughest defense in the universe neither the most stable one but the one property that made it above all and that was its ability to convert chaos energy into world energy.

No one knows who is the wall's creator it was as if it came into existence itself, every time a universe is formed after the destruction which he witnessed multiple times thanks to his immortality.

Long long ago he was herald as the greatest genius in the universe, because he founded the dao to tame the void energy, although they still kept calling him the monster. It helped countless sects to establish chaos energy collecting formations directly from outside of the universe wall.

This saved the day for the universe itself since its age was the prolonged cause of less stress from the energy absorption by cultivators.

There were countless cultivators in the universe they all absorb energy into their bodies. After their death, it all returns to the world. But not in the case when you execute a dao technique or even simple martial art the energy is lost forever into an unusable form.

The supply of energy to the universe was unlimited in the form of chaos but the conversion speed was limited by the universe walls. So if cultivators keep absorbing energy at a greater speed than the conversion speed it would destroy the unavoidable universe order but it would come sooner in this case.

When he created the formation of chaos conversion he was respected more than the high heaven itself but in front of the atrocities, he committed this success was just a pebble in front of the great flood.

"Let's not remember the past right now"

The boy calmed down his mind in one breath and started walking in a particular direction.

In reality, the skyless pit didn't have a sense of direction if one walk 1000 steps he would have covered only one step, and vice versa was also possible. Since there was no light so no confirmation south or west. But the boy kept walking where his heart led him.

On his way, he found countless bodies that kept decreasing as he got away from the edge of the pit. The majority of them were human-shaped. Few were fully intact. Of course, those who can survive this fall without any damage without the use of worldly energy can be counted on one hand.

On his way, he also found colossal skeletons that probably belonged to distant eras. At least he didn't has a record of such beings. Well, he didn't have a record of any being in this new universe.

Further, he went the darker the miasma became. But it didn't have any effect on the boy who was currently in his soul form. Thanks to this he didn't feel any hunger.

Walking after a very long time probably longer than the time which had passed outside since the time was also distorted in this place. But it was thinned to what extent, that boy didn't know since all the daos in this universe were completely different from his old one with just the most basic was the same such as; the time river flows in just one direction.

After walking for a long time he suddenly saw a big castle but strange thing was that the castle was completely made of wood. His eyes squinted after looking at it but he turned away, didn't step into it.

"Don't you want to go to? Maybe meet the old man have a cup of tea, talk about which one has a bigger kingdom and harem."

A voice came from inside himself the voice of the same entity that was accompanying him at the beginning.

"One has to admit it you have zero talent in teasing someone." the boy paused for some time and continued,

"It's already good enough that he let a stranger in his domain now barging into his home uninvitedly would be something he would not like, neither would I."

"But you already know he is not here," the entity said.

The boy ignored it and kept walking until he reached a wall. It was not the wall made up of some unknown material rather it was a wall of space. Countless dimensions stalking above each other in a complex manner.

One can easily walk past it but he would keep going in random circles for eternity no matter how high his cultivation or comprehension of dao is. This wall was the result of the peak of dao of space.

Even a heavenly god would find himself in a tough spot in front of this wall. Maybe only the old man heaven controller can do something about it.

The boy's eye shone with terrible light while looking at it, terrible enough to pull out the souls of gods and devils alike. He touched the nonexistent wall.

"Open the portal. A little bit of energy is fine" the boy said in a serious tone.

"Are you sure? The heavenly tribulation will destroy the whole world if you use dao of space from another universe on such a large scale." The voice asked after hearing his serious tone.

"This pit is special. Heaven cant peak into the pit so I am free to use whatever I want here. This place is my backyard now."

"...." After feeling the nearly lunatic look on the boy's face the entity kept silent.

"BEYOND THE UNIVERSE'S WALL"

A boy was sitting there quietly. Suddenly he lifted his hand and a complex rune begins to form around his hand. THE SPACE DAO and one on its utmost peak. He learned it in his universe and perfected it there. And on his way in the void, he took it beyond perfection.

But this dao was unusable not because it was ineffective in this new universe. No. The essence was the same the purpose was the same but since the path was extremely distant from the very beginning, it would attract a terrible heavenly tribulation. Most probably not worth the trouble.

Since the skyless pit, most dangerous of all 'the deaths embrace grounds', did not allow heaven or rule of heaven and earth to peek inside it, so usage of different space dao was safe here.

The ethereal form of the boy also extended his hand and draconic runes begin to appear on his hand which connected the space between them.

Although it took a long time maybe years to complete he was successful in connecting a stable portal sprawling over the length of half of the universe. An unmatched act in the whole of history.

With just a thought he began the construction of a new body from scratch using the energy arriving from the portal.

He could reshape into any form but there was no need since he never paid attention to the bag of skin.

Hence the new body had the same shape as the common country boy's face. His original face. The body looked 16-year-old boy with thin arms and legs with little muscles.

After reconstructing his body he entered into it and took an even longer time to assimilate his soul and body in perfect resonance.

After unknown time passed the boy opened his eyes. Feeling his new body which was in perfect harmony. Now it was time for the next step.
