Chapter 06

[ second flashback ]

Naruto's POV

months passed by and we were always meeting at the same place and at the same time

i was standing below the tree and someone suddenly hugged me from behind

it was very tight but it was enough for me to feel safe

"sasuke.."i quietly said and his grip went tighter than it was before. i reached for his hair and caressed it

"let's go!"i happily said and removed his arms away from my waist

i saw him pouted and i chuckled

"we need to go, you wanted to train right?" i fixed his hair

he nodded

"alright" i grabbed his wrist and we ran towards the sea

when we got there, i immediately took a seat on a chair near the cabin

i saw him getting inside the cabin and went outside bringing his surfboard and he went beside me and said

"this will be quick i promise!" he said and ran towards the sea

i noticed that he wasn't asking for the instructor for the first time

"Sasuke! aren't you gonna ask for the instructor?!" i shouted, he looked back and smiled

"No! I'm already good!" he said and he stood up straight like he was already a professional surfer

"But still, you need to!" i insisted, fearing that he might get into accident

he chuckled and raised his hands with an okay sign, he then make his way towards the waves and was starting to do his moves

i could totally see how happy he was, the way he smiles, the way how those deep black eyes glow when the sun hits them all in all 

he was really handsome

i smiled and felt tired. i decided to sleep.

i suddenly heard a lot of people talking like they were all on the same place, i woke up trying to squint my eyes since it was kind of blurry

i asked the guy who was beside about what was happening, the guy looked down to met my eyes and said

"oh there was a guy who got washed out from a big wave, he was about to remove his surfboard leash because i heard he was just gonna go swimming but the big wave came in and his sufboard dragged him all the way to the line" the guy explained

"did they call the ambulance? how was the guy?" i asked

"yep, they called. the guy was unconscious when they got him out of the sea" the guy said

"i hope he was fine" i answered back

i took a seat, and searched for sasuke and i saw nothing but a bunch of people talking about what happened.

a sudden realization hit me, and made my heart beat nervously.

"e-excuse me? what was the guy l-look like" i asked as i feel my hand and legs shaking up

"he was wearing a dark blue boardshorts" he answered

"his h-hair, what does it look like? is it deep b-black? does he have any small u-uchiha logo in his boardshorts?" i nervously asked

"ah yes! that's it, he was an uchi-" i immediately ran towards the nearest hospital even though my tears kept on falling i didn't stopped and continued running

when i got inside, i immediately went to the front desk

"excuse m-me, is there s-someone who was brought here awhile ago. he was a s-surfer" i asked still feeling scared and nervous

"ah yes, he was brought to the-" i hurriedly left and tried to find sasuke inside the hospital

after running and running, i found him and was laying inside a room with an oxygen tank on.

a doctor came out and i saw sasuke's brother, itachi.

"i-itachi! how's sasuke?! is he fine?" i asked while my tears kept on falling

"he's fine but the doctor said that they need to run some tests inside his head to see if there are any complications" itachi answered and escorted me to go inside

i looked at sasuke and saw some stitches near his eyes, my tears began to fall i saw his face getting a lot of scars

"i-im sorry" i cried as i held his face, my hand went touching his hand

its cold

my tears began to fall more than it was before

"s-sasuke please wake up" i cried while holding hands

i suddenly felt sasuke's hands held unto me, i looked up and saw that he wasn't opening his eyes.. later on he started shouting

"aaaghhh!! my eyes!!" he shouted while he was touching his eyes, while his eyes were closed a blood came rushing down from his eyes.. i immediately went out to call itachi

"i-itachi!! s-sasuke's eyes!!" i panickedly shouted, itachi's eyeds widened in shock. i noticed that he got his phone out and was speaking to his mom

itachi then went outside to call for doctors, i heard someone running and saw sasuke and itachi's parents together with my mom

i was hugging sasuke tightly and cried while he was shouting as the blood kept on running down from his eyes

"sasuke!" her mom shouted

sasuke didn't opened his eyes and was still shouting in pain, i reached for his other hand and placed it in my cheek where my whiskers are

"naruto! we need to go now! this is a family matter!" my mom shouted as she kept on pulling my arms away from sasuke

"No! Mom i don't wanna leave! I can't leave him just like this... p-please mom!" i shouted as i kept on gripping sasuke's hand

"We need to go now naruto..." mom answered as she held on me tightly trying to shook my grip off

"S-sasuke! I promise... i will definitely find you .. i'll definitely come back to you. Until then please wait for me ... and please don't die" i sobbed as i finally loosen my grip on sasuke's hand..

I looked at him once again and felt my heart breaking into pieces.. Nurses began to ran towards sasuke's room as they shouted with all their strength to save sasuke.

Before i knew it... i already left.

when i got out of the hospital, rain was starting to pour down.

"haah- w-what a great timing" i muttered silently and i crouched down while crying my eyes out
