A century after been held in Hel for treason, the vampire queen returns home to invest her revenge on all those who plotted against her, only for her to find that an absolute stranger sits on her throne. A devilishly handsome stranger with no indication as to being a vampire.
What's more, he is immune to her vampiric powers and has been ruling her kingdom for years. Marceline is adamant to regain her throne, the stranger is absolute in his charms. Marceline realizes that her revenge plans might be put on hold. A bargain is struck, romance is festered as they both realize they have similar goals.

Gabriel's handsome face drew terribly close to hers and Marceline could see his startling blue irises, his hot breath fanned her pale face and Marceline craved the heat.
Her heart raced at the suddeness of his proximity, his muscular chest was only some inches closer to hers. His hands was slowly creeping to her side, his eyes never left hers... Blue clashing on Purple.
Marceline was fully certain that Gabriel wasn't a vampire, his breath had blown hot, his body didn't resonate the vibration that occured when vampires got too close with each other. He was something else and yet, Marceline had no idea what kind of creature he was. Being immune to the powers of a vampire queen wasn't heard of in all of Aivades history.
"What are you?" Marceline whispered, as she tried to regain composure. Her pale lips were so close to his that if she simply exaggerated a breath, they would touch and Marceline wasn't sure what would happen next.
Gabriel smirked, the motion showing off his pearly white fangs. He leaned forward and whispered in her ear.
Marceline's breath hitched before she could control herself.
"I'm simply mad over you," He whispered each word slowly, his breath tickling her earlobes.
