Insane Reflex

They didn't find anything wrong with Alex so soon the meeting came to an end.Everyone went to their designated post only two people remain Sarah was the one of them other was thomas who was busy with his research.

Sarah remained behind, her expression grave as she pondered the events of the recent attack. She glanced over at Thomson, who was engrossed in his research, his brow furrowed in concentration as he sifted through data on his screen.

"Thomson, do you think we missed something?" Sarah asked, her voice tinged with concern.

Thomson looked up, his eyes reflecting the same uncertainty that gnawed at Sarah's mind. "It's possible," he replied, his voice measured. "The creature's sudden appearance and disappearance raise more questions than answers."

Sarah nodded, her thoughts racing as she considered their next course of action. "We need to find out more about this creature and its motives," she said firmly. "We can't afford to let another attack catch us off guard."

Thomson nodded in agreement, his mind already turning to the task at hand. "I'll continue analyzing the data we collected from the attack," he said. "Maybe there's something we overlooked that could give us a clue."

Thomas excuses himself went to his lab immediately after the meeting was over because the blood which was collected yesterday remain dormant all Time didn't show any property but suddenly it was showing some movement started but in next second they died down.

Giving no answer to thomas as why suddenly they were showing such reaction.Alex was send outside the meeting in middle and now was sitting on a bench in a garden which he suddenly found after roaming in uncertain direction.

He was not alone haze was sitting on his lap enjoying his touch.Haze now feel comfortable around Alex and allow only him to pet herself while swinging her tail.

Sarah approached Alex, her footsteps echoing softly in the corridor as she made her way towards him in the garden she sat beside him . "Alex," she called out, her voice carrying a mix of concern and warmth.

Alex turned to face her, his was stoic "yes Who are you??," he replied, acknowledging her presence with a nod.

"Oh my bad my name is Sarah your mother's friend so you can call me aunt," Sarah began, her eyes scanning his face for any sign of distress. "After everything that happened, are you doing okay?"

Alex paused for a moment before nodding, his voice steady as he replied, "I'm fine, aunt. Just trying to make sense of it all."

Sarah then noticed the haze which surprise to see a squirrel beast which was not present in meeting she find it quite fascinating and cute at the same time because not only it was a beast but also it was sleeping peacefully as if she belives no harm can come to her.

Well, well, what do we have here?" Sarah remarked, a playful twinkle in her eye as she approached Alex. "Looks like you've got a friend why don't you let me meet it, Alex."

Haze who was sleeping peacefully woke up look in direction of Sarah.

Alex looked down at Haze, a fondness evident in his gaze as he gently stroked the squirrel's fur. "Yeah, Haze has been by my side quite a time now ," he said, his voice tinged with affection.

Sarah chuckled softly, her gaze softening as she watched the pair. "It's amazing how animals have a way of finding their people, isn't it?" she mused, a nostalgic smile playing on her lips.

Haze chittered happily in response which make Sarah more surprise for her now Alex is filled with surprise.

Thinking after some time Sarah spoke "Hey Alex," Sarah said with a warm smile, "how about I show you around the military base? There's so much to see, and I think you'd find it really interesting."

Alex's eyes lit up at the prospect of exploring the base. "Yeah, that sounds good!" he exclaimed eagerly.

As they began their tour, Sarah guided Alex through the various sections of the base, pointing out the different facilities and explaining their purposes. They visited the training grounds, where soldiers were engaged in various exercises and drills, and the research labs, where scientists worked tirelessly on advancing military technology.

As they entered the training ground, Sarah pointed out the array of equipment available for practice. "Here, Alex, take a look at these," she said, gesturing towards the different stations.

First, there was a row of combat rifles, sleek and menacing with their matte black finish and adjustable scopes. Each rifle was equipped with advanced targeting systems and customizable attachments, ready for precision shooting exercises.

Next to the rifles were the heavy weapons, including grenade launchers and anti-tank missiles.

In another section of the training ground, there were obstacle courses and agility tests set up, designed to challenge soldiers' physical endurance and dexterity. Alex could see ropes, climbing walls, and balance beams, all arranged to simulate real-world combat scenarios.

"Alex let's see what u got " she said pointed at the strength measuring device . Alex decides to step in the device a pillar was infront of him in a capsule above there was a digital screen indicating numbers.

Alex punched the pillar with his plausible power,Arin had never fight or trained any combat skill the pillar screen blink two times the screen measured the no. displaying( 0.5) which was very weak.

Sarah didn't commented anything abot his score she didn't want to make him feel bad .she just said 'nice try'.

Then Alex move to the next section of shooting rifles he was given gun but with bullet of metal balls which almost gives no recoil .

In front of Arin 10 target were present with each Target distance increase so as it speed in moving Sarah coustomized the speed according to 7 year old.

Alex aim at the target and next moment he gave it headshot in just 15.5 seconds Alex destroyed every target the reaction speed of Arin was just insane infact the highest score set by none other than Sarah itself which was 26.3 seconds.

Every trainee present there froze seeing the score because it was not the score evertome they got to watch.

She her record break was also surprised but later thought how can a child break her record it may be she coustomized the setting so she said to Alex

"Alex you are amazing seriously let's try it again."

She went on transparent and set the setting same as she uses

Alex went to his previous position again but to her surprise again in just 15.3 seconds he shooted all target everyone was thinking one thing

"What the fuck is this ???"

Sarah who had her mouth open wide not expecting the result they were thinking this time the time will increase but instead of increase it decreased even after customisation.

How can a 7 year old break there record.But blue hair boy who has caused such turmoil in the training ground was thinking completely opposite thing he was not showing any expression like it was nothing for him he can do it every time he is asked for it.

Alex and Sarah exited the training ground she didn't want any other surprise today she had already seen many surprises her pride is completely shattered.

Alex met his grandpa on his way back with Sarah grandpa max who saw the playful nature of Sarah was no where to be seen asked if she was having any problem she then told grandpa what occurred to which grandpa max laughed and patted Alex back.After some more talk they went back to Midtown village.
