I watched the way Aminu's mom was looking at the label of each dress before she picked it.

It's a weekend and offered to go shopping with her after she requested I accompany her the last time we talked.

We stopped by at one of the most expensive boutiques in Lagos and this woman has been pick dresses, handbag shoes without bothering to look at their price tags. The only thing she looks at is the label, to know who designed the dress and if she doesn't like the designer or hasn't heard of the name before, she drops the dress and goes for something else.

This is a woman who almost lost her life a month ago to a stroke and got us all worried and praying for God to save her life. And now that she can stand on her two feet again the first thing she does is to go shopping for dresses she can put on to the next Owanbe (party). Who is this woman? She is supposed to be at home resting her feet.
