Louisa's POV

I was seated in my living room watching TV when Miriam got back from Liam's place. I stood up and went to open the door for her.

"Look who decided to finally come back," I sarcastically said to her, with one hand on the door and the other on my waist.

"Aren't you supposed to be at work?" She asked, surprised to see me at home.

"In case you have forgotten today is a public holiday," I say with a smirk.

"Oh, I actually didn't remember," she pushed past me into the house, I shut the door and follow her, "so you spent the house at Liam's place huh?" I say after her.

"Yes," she continued walking towards the stairs, not bothering to say anything else.

"You know you have to tell me what is going on right?"

She turns to look at me, "how do you mean?"
