Chapter 4.2
He hit the floor with his full weight.
The chains binding him had all been undone.
But no one was nearby to do it.
Ignoring the circumstances of how he was unbound, he immediately went to take off the chains.
Wriggling and struggling to unwrap everything off of him, the metal chain links made sharp noises as it hit the floor.
When he was completely unbound, a few moments later, he ran his fingers just over the part of his head where he got blasted.
It felt strange, because there was just a spot in his head absent of hair, or skull.
Tozue surreal terror of his situation was dimmed now, so he treated his predicament with less worry.
Sighing, he digged his fingers through his hair, to pinch the arista that was hidden within.
Before yanking on it, Tozue said:
"This would be so much better if I had some music playing on a walkman."
Tozue pulled it out.
Laughing like a madman, he viciously transformed into something that was a cross between Mister Insect, and himself.
"FUCK YEAH! THATS THE STUFF!"
His eyes fractured and multiplied, letting him see what was around him.
The strands of his hair thickened and elongated, and two antenna sprouted from in it.
The hole in his head was gone now.
His mouth and nose were replaced by mandibles like an ants, and the skin on his face and neck was plated in chitin.
Needles and jagged spines poked out from his shell-plated forearms as part of his defense.
His hands were replaced by a pair of scythes like a mantis'.
With his compound eyes, Tozue looked around the room, realizing he saw it all.
After standing around in awe for a few moments, he dropped down into a sprinter's starting position, facing the wall which had a door.
"Alright then, lets see what I can do…"
As he lunged forward, it felt like each step he took was, unintentionally, a massive leap.
Tozue shot straight the wall, and kept going, like a 50 cal breaking through everything that stood in front of it.
As he broke mach 2, he thought to himself.
"Yeah, it makes sense that the Insect Devil would be this strong."
