Those blue eyes which had always haunted her and made her miss him no matter how much she tried to stop the feelings. Those ocean-strong blue eyes. she let him in……after she knew that she would never be a saint no matter how pure she was…..She still wanted to be with him. She wanted him to love her. Lisa sneezed as she woke up from her slumber. She turned her body to the other side of the bed as she wanted to get more sleep.

But she had the urge to respond to the call of nature.

She frowned as she got up from her bed and yawned, stretching her body. She turned to Crystal's bed but noticed that she was not on the bed.

"Maybe she is in the bathroom" She thought, wearing her bunny slippers.

She tiredly walked to the bathroom and entered, but what she saw made her gasp in utter surprise.

Lying down on the bathroom floor was Crystal covered in her own pool of blood. She stood for a while, immobile as if suddenly, she became a statue.

But when she came to her senses, she shouted, alerting the people in the house.

"Crystal" She called her name as she kept down and carefully took Crystal's head on her lap.

"Crystal" She called Again as a tear slipped down her right cheek. She did not want to lose her....not when she finally has a sister to love and care for.

"No no no no no. You will be fine....you have to be fine. We will take you to the hospital okay and the Doctor will treat you" She got up and cleaned her tears, not minding the blood stains on her body and clothes.

"What happened?" Jason asked as he rushed into the bathroom. When he saw Crystal on the floor, his eyes widened but was quick to act.

He removed the handkerchief from his pocket and tied her wrist so her blood will not flow more. He carried her and left the room before Madam Garcia saw the reason for Lisa's shout.

It was dark.

So dark that there was no light anywhere.

So dark that it was almost impossible to make out where she was.

She tried to open her eyes and failed before realising they were open. Most night skies were the darkest of greys, but this one was pure black. It was like someone shut off the stars and moon.

The darkness felt heavy, oppressive, almost supernatural. It was darker than vantablack, if that is even possible. She found herself swallowed up in the nothingness, not able to see her own two hands in front of her face.

Feeling herself on the ground, she stood up. Where was everyone? Why was she here alone....in the dark. Where was this place?

Where was she?

Darkness seemed to be the only one, lending its strong protective arms, holding her close. Within it she felt more like a child once more, safe in shields of duvet.

Closing her eyes, she tried to remember how she got here. Maybe she would have a clue as to how she ended up here. But even in her mind, darkness prevailed. She could not think of anything but darkness.

It seemed that her mind, soul and spirit only sank in utter darkness, not seeing light. Just like what was around her. Putting her hound out, she bent down to feel the ground and then sat. She felt more comfortable in this dark and scary place and didn't want to live.

She wanted to stay right there....in the darkness.

But it came all too suddenly. There was a light coming from afar.

Light switched on that place, bringing both energy and vision, igniting the rich colours with such great variation. It flowed as if it was from the sun,

It seemed so far but the aura of hope which surrounded that little light could go as far as reaching her right where she sat. Getting up she walked closer...and closer.

The more she walked, the more the light became farther and farther away from her. It took all her strength and will to follow that little light. She got closer....and closer....each step it took the light became more brighter and more beautiful.

In the dappled light it is as if the golden rays are dripping upon her skin, forming sweet golden pools.

At least she reached this light...but surprisingly this light was in form of a being....a person. Walking closer, she squinted her eyes to see this person very well.

She knew those eyes anywhere....those eyes.

Those beautiful blue eyes.

"Justin"

She whispered as she stepped closer.

He was her light....her hope.

Her strength....her will.

She could not help but smile when she saw that beautiful smile of his on his face. She wanted some much to touch him....she could not help but want to touch him...

Stretching her hands to him, she wanted so badly to touch him...to feel him....to have hope. He too, reached out for her and their hands touched. Her eyes suddenly started to close as she entered into another world of serene solace.

He was her hope, her strength. For a reason she wanted to fight...she wanted to win...she wanted to conquer. She wanted him to see how good and great she will become because of him. She could not at all help it....she needed hope....and that hope was hidden behind those eyes...

Those hope filled blue eyes.

It is in the black of spacetime that the light is so at home.

Madam Garcia ran to and fro in panic, not even knowing what to do at that moment.

Kelvin and Jason, two of the children quickly went outside the bungalow to look for a taxi. Ten minutes later they were on the road, heading for the city hospital.

Jumping out of the taxi as soon as they stopped, Jason and Kelvin carried Crystal while Madam Garcia was running behind them looking restless. They entered the hospital and informed one of the nurses about the condition of Crystal.

The nurse left saying she would find a Doctor and they will take her to the hospital room but no one came to attend to them for fifteen minutes. Madam Garcia made her way to another nurse who told her there was no one to attend to them for now.

"No! Is this not a Government hospital? Why can they not attend to my daughter? She is losing a lot of blood. Please attend to her"

"I am sorry Madam but the girl has to wait. There is no Doctor around" The nurse said and walked away.

Why was this happening now? Why can't they attend to Crystal? She knew there were Doctors in this hospital but why will they not attend to them?

She put her hands on her hair and forcely drew her hair.

Walking further into the hospital, she saw a Doctor coming out of the Emergency room. Running to the man, she stopped him and played her complaint. But the man said he was busy.

"Busy?"

"Yes madam. I have a lot to do. If you will please excuse me, i will be on my way now" He said, walking out on her.

But she had enough of it. She didn't know why the Doctors and the nurses are not attending to her but this involves the life of a child. Crystal's life. And if she had to fight for these people to attend to her then she will.

Turning back she pursued the Doctor, and when she caught him she held him by the collar. She isn't going to take it so easily with this man.

"If you do not attend to my daughter this instant, i am going to create a scene here"

"Please madam, let go of my collar" He seemed adamant but she was not going anywhere. If he was looking for a fight, she will give him one.

"Are you that heartless? If you do not attend to my daughter i am going to do something that will scare you for life. Don't you have a daughter huh? How will you feel if that daughter cut herself with a razor blade and has lost a lot of blood? Better come with me now or else..."

"Fine! I will go with you, just do not cause a scene here. Take me to your daughter"

Taking a deep sigh of relief, she left the Doctor back to where she had left them. By the time they had rolled her into the Emergency room, Crystal was out cold. Her heart beat was beating so slow.

She had only one prayer....that she would be fine.
