10 Seven

Back in Harvenhills high that same morning, classes were going on smoothly. Justin sat on his desk, ruffling his hair as he zoomed into his thoughts.

He could not understand what was going on with him at all. Right from the first day she bumped into him everything he thought about was her.

Something awakened....a feeling that seems all the more foreign to him. He sighed as he looked out of the window which was close to his desk.

He knew she was special....he knew that there is something between them that still seemed so hard to understand. It felt as if there was a connection....or had he met her before?

No.

He was not sure they had even met.

Then why was it so hard to take his mind off her? What is this foreign feeling?

He had never felt it before, but it felt so right.

She is so beautiful.

Damn so beautiful.

And that was why he had always watched her....monitored her carefully.....what she does.....her grades....everything about her.

Why does he seem to care?

He felt so attracted to her...he did not at all know why but there was something pulling him towards her, more like a magnetic force on its own. He wanted so bad not to make her matter but he just couldn't help it.

It hurts to see her hurt. It made him happy when he saw she was happy and whenever she was sad it made him even more sad.

For three whole years he had watched her from afar....for three whole years he tried so much to behave as if she did not at all matter....for three whole years, he had tried to get her out of his head.

For three whole years....he could not stop thinking about her.

"Who are you Crystal Garcia? And what are you doing to me?" Was rhe question he kept asking himself in his thoughts whenever he could not control his sanity. She was driving him insane.....

So damn insane that if it was possible, he would kidnap her and hold her to him and never let her go.

No there was no way.....there was no way he could be selfish and hurt her. He would hurt her if he let her in.....and he could not bear to see her hurt.

A secret that he had promised since he realised about himself that he would never reveal to anyone...and now, when at last he finds someone to whom he could feel he could pour out his soul, it makes it all the more harder because it felt he could not do without her.

The monster in him wanted to be with her....the monster in him needed her....His monster was always calm around her and restless when it does not see her.

He was dangerous, his monster made him dangerous and that is what he was afraid of?

What if he hurt her?

No....

He can't.

He can't let her in.

"Crystal"

He whispered her name. His mind had gone berserk when he looked into her eyes for the first time.

She was beautiful....so dangerously beautiful.

Her beauty made him so whipped for her. When he touched her hand it felt so soft. When she became shy, she looked so cute.

"Damn! What are you doing to me Crystal? Why can i get you away from my mind?"

He wanted to get rid of her. He was not at all someone worthy of her. An angel can never be good for a monster. She was so innocent. He could not at all bear to see her hurt, but he harboured the thought of making her hurt.

He wanted her to hurt so she could hate him. He cared for her feelings but he wanted her far away from him. He would hurt her so bad that she would never even look at him again.

Putting this thought in his mind, he stood up and made his way to her class. If he does not see her, he will go crazy. Even if he had to hurt her for her to be safe, he will.

As long as she is safe.....

Entering her class, he scanned the room for her, not paying attention to the girls who seemed to drool over him.

He could not see her. Why was she not here?

Is she okay? Is she fine?

Were the questions he could not stop asking himself. Crystal was not the type to miss school. In fact, as far as he could remember, Crystal never missed a day from school before.

"Hey, do you want something?" A girl whom he recognized as Cynthia asked as she came close to him, smiling as she sashayed towards him.

"Crystal.....Is she in school?" Maybe she is in school...or even at the cafeteria.

"You are asking about that dumb girl? That is surprising Justin. Trust me, she is not at all...."

"I did not ask for lectures, i asked a question..yes or no?" Justin interrupted, eyeing her threateningly as she stepped back in fear.

"Yes or no?"

"I did not see her at all today. I do not think....."

But before she could finish, Justin had walked out of the class. Damn he wanted to see her, he was growing crazy.

He started to worry....his plan of hurting her forgotten for a moment. She was the only thing that kept him insane and now she was not here. How will he calm down this beast that is threatening to go on a rampage in search for her?

He ran back to her classroom and walked to her seat. Her scent was there, not strong but there. He sat on it as he felt calm again. He felt the hardness of the desk as he thought of her.

Her scent....he could smell it.

It was strong now....too inviting. Strawberries and Cinnamon mixed together...

Laying his head on the desk he felt at home....he felt peaceful.

He felt peace.

He did not know what that girl was doing to him but he knew there was no way he could be without her.

She was so pure, as pure as a rose.

But he selfishly wanted that rose.

"Mine" He whispered as he licked his teeth, tightening his fist.

He is hers and no one will take her away from him.
