3 She went through a surgery and admitted in hospital but as a husband he still don't know it.

Ch-3

"Because you never cared, My Lord, " he mumbled.

"Just say how the f*ck you know about it!" Arthur roared.

"My Lady said it herself!" Nicholas immediately cleared.

"She said to you but not to me! Huh!" He gave a chilling smile as he said.

"My Lord, you cannot blame me or My Lady. My Lady came here to invite you to her shows and her painting galas. But you always used to send her away saying you don't have time to meet her. So, My Lady also never attended her shows or galas. She used to say that without you she won't attend them. But you always chased her out without even listening to what she was going to say. After all, you don't have time for her, " Nicholas said. Nicholas never informed about Esther to Arthur a lot of times. He informed them about her troubles, health issues, and other things to him. But he asked Nicholas to take care of them. So... Nicholas used to involve and solve if needed for her. But Esther doesn't trouble a lot. She does her things on her own. And she was from a Royal family, she has people who can do things for her. It's just that, she was blinded by him. 

"My Lord, you never had time for her, " he mumbled but still it was heard by Garcia.

Arthur looked at him sharply with a murdering look.

"You have got tongues, " Arthur said.

"But still what I said is true. Even now and a few minutes ago you said 'tell her I don't have time. Even before I started to say your schedule. Lady Garcia said she doesn't want to know about your schedules anymore. She is trying to distance herself from you. She even invited you to have the last dinner along with her and the child. If you don't attend also she said she won't force you or ask you again after all she will be leaving tomorrow. I already informed Lady Garcia you are busy. Maybe she knows you won't come, " P. A. Nicholas mocked.

Even though Arthur was a cold-blooded evil satan. He is quite good to Nicholas. Arthur doesn't have friends. Only Nicholas is the one who is close to him at least in the eyes of Arthur. So, only he has the guts to mock him.

Arthur looked at him with a hardened gaze but didn't comment.

"Nich....." Before he could say anything his words cut off in the middle.

"My Lord, your dream is going to come true. Lady Garcia returned this bank card which included her monthly allowance. I checked all the monthly allowance that we provided from the start of your married life there. No single penny was spent.

" And also she returned the Garcia heirloom to Mrs. Garcia.

"And also since you both never had sex. You didn't have a child. If there is a child, even after you got divorced she would have tangled with you due to the child. It would have been troublesome for you.

"You are lucky and foresighted, My lord. If not for your foresight she might have gotten pregnant with your child. And also My Lady didn't play any tricks on you. If it had happened it would be trouble. But you no longer have to worry.

" I checked into Lady Garcia things. She indeed booked a flight to Calista country. If you ditch her tonight as usual. You don't need to face her. After all, you only wasted three years with her and you are only twenty-eight years. You can get many women if not her. Or you can mourn for your deceased Ex along with her child, " Nicholas said with a vicious smile.

Even though he is scared of Arthur, today is different.

Because he saw how Esther Benjamin faced all these years by marrying him. He saw with his own eyes. Arthur sent him to her whenever she was in trouble. She buried her tears even though the situation is. She only asked about Arthur but Arthur is never there for her. She always gave a mocking smile to herself.

He saw her running around him for his attention but she wasn't able to get it. She only gets attention when there is that kid in between them. He used to act in front of the kid as though they are being lovey-dovey.

Nicholas is angry at his friend aka boss. Even though they are from different leagues. Arthur never looked down on Nicholas and let him enter his life.

"She returned everything?" Arthur said.

"Yeah, My Lord. I made our men follow her. She went to your Ex-girlfriend's tomb to pay respects even in this heavy rain in the afternoon. She paid her respects to your deceased Ex. Oops, My Bad, " he slapped his mouth.

"She went to your beloved woman Lucy Clark's tomb and paid respects. I got them to take a video for you, My lord, " he took out his phone and played the video as handed the phone to him.

Arthur saw a woman got out of the cab and spoke a few words to the cab driver. The cab driver didn't leave but waited for her.

She approached a tomb with yellow chrysanthemums. She swept the tomb with those flowers and kneeled in front of the muddy tomb.

"Lucy Clark, you won. I didn't come in between you both when you are alive. But it looks like your charm is too strong. I took your child, I entered loveless marriage but nothing worked. He didn't even spare a glance.

"Now I know how wishful I'm for thinking I can make him get over you. It's all my fault.

" But now these things don't matter to me anymore. I'm leaving him. He can spend time here with you near your tomb. But I feel bad for your child because he is the only comfort I had in that lonely place. He gave me love and comfort. He is the reason for my will. But it broke down a week back. I can't make him forget you. Or I can't make him look at me for once. If I can, I want to take the child away.

"I am giving your things back to you. I took Lady Garcia's title which has to be yours. I returned it. And even the Garcia family heirloom too. Even your child.

" I will have nothing to do with Garcia's from tomorrow. Your soul can rest at peace from now.

"Even it's a stupid move for me to come here. I wanted to share everything with you," she said in a dull voice. She was silent for a long time before she continued.

"Why can't he look at me for once? He doesn't even smile at me. I never did anything to him. Even though we are married for three years I never stepped into his bedroom once. I cooked for him. I washed his clothes instead of giving them to the laundry. I cleaned the whole house instead of letting a maid do it.

" I had a tumor in my stomach. When I went to his office to ask him to accompany me to the hospital, he replied he doesn't have time for me to deal with my silly matters. I stayed in the hospital for a whole two weeks. He doesn't even know about it. "

I don't know. Arthur thought. His brows furrowed.

Arthur felt confused.
