Their friendship is ruined because of Arthur. And the things which made it worse was… When she has a tumor in her stomach, Michelle was the one who took care of her as Arthur has no time for her. After Esther recovered, Michelle insisted on breaking up with that man. They have a big fight over that issue but Esther was too strong over her strand. That was the last straw for Michelle. 

"Esther! You will regret being with him!" Michelle left after saying these lines. There were many times she regretted being with him. Esther wanted to run to her friend and hug her while crying her heart out. But she didn't dare to face her. If she had taken her advice back then, she wouldn't have ended up like this. 

Esther knew Michelle was a badass but a kind one towards the people who were close to her. The memories of Michelle ran like a film in her brain.
