5 Chapter 5
Lyn was serious about her manhunt. She went shopping before coming over to mine and got me a dress which I had no choice not that I'm complaining to wear.
Finally done with our make-up and hair we were ready to hunt!
Lyn had her blonde hair packed to the side. Her hair screamed miss perfect she wore a beautiful Ashleylauren red halter jumpsuit which she paired with red heels. Her piercing blue eyes popped out more which made her look even more gorgeous.
Without a doubt her hunt will be successful, hopefully he is worthy of her.
The dress she got for me is perfect. I love how it complimented my body. The black-red halter dress paired with a silvery heel screamed sexiness. I stared at the mirror and I couldn't help my smile. I knew I was good-looking but tonight I really do look amazing.
Lyn might not be able to drive us home at the end of the night, and I doubt I would too. Hence we called for a taxi.
Lyn gave the driver the address since she discovered the club and we hopped in.
We soon got to the club and thankfully we passed through the bouncers without problems.
Breaking me by Topic was playing and some people were on the dancefloor dancing while some just sat and drank their drinks. We decided to get some drinks first.
Well Lyn ordered some alcoholic drink and I ordered for non-alcoholic since one of us had to be mentally sane.
Four glasses later, Lyn who has been scanning for her man had a disappointed look. Some men had offered to buy us a drink which we declined. She is hoping for something real not a fling while I wanted none. My heart ached watching her.
"Maybe we should just go home" she suggested. I knew she is trying to give up but the night is still young. It won't hurt to have fun by ourselves.
"The night is still young Lyn, been with me can't be that boring right" the bartender Davis I think he introduced chuckled at my words. Lyn smiled as well.
"Oh it is except you buy me a drink and maybe take me to the dance floor then I'll reconsider my view of been with you" she said winking.
"I had hoped to do those, I guess I'm late" well that definitely ain't my voice. We moved our heads to the side where the voice came from and I couldn't help but be awed.
I mean I know there are good-looking guys out there in the world. But damn the guy in my line of vision right now looks like he just stepped out of a magazine cover and here I thought my cousin looks good no pun intended. Well I have to stop ogling right now. Glancing at Eve I noticed I wasn't the only one ogling. I meekly tapped her back to her senses.
"Uhm... Were u referring to us" wow I never knew a day when Lyn would stammer exist. I should have brought a recorder.
"Yes that is if you ladies are OK with that" he asked charmingly
"Yes sure, do you mind joining us" Lyn responded
"Why not join me instead, my seat is more comfortable and I'm alone. I would love the company" he asked with a smile. Well kill me I'm shipping these two already in my head. My niece and nephews will be so cute.
"Oh why not, we'll love to join you" I answered. Lyn ain't gonna sink mah ship
We left with him to the VIP area and as he said he was alone. Apparently, his friend is out of the country and he was bored so he came clubbing alone. I felt like a third wheel although they tried to involve me in their conversation. He is humorous and damn did they have chemistry.
Lyn was totally herself around him
I decided to give them some space by going to the restroom which I took my time in. I had a fun night, Gavin took us home since he insisted on dropping us off what a gentleman. Luckily he had a driver.
"Thanks for giving us space babe, your bathroom trip is very much appreciated" she hugged me
"You welcome and congratulations on your successful hunt" I responded with a grin hugging her back
Lyn and I went to bed happily contented with our successful hunt.
