4 Chapter 4

It's been days and yet there hasn't been any response from them. Crosby Inc. Isn't an easy company to get into but I was hopeful, right now I'm stuck researching for any available vacancy. But no matter how hard I try I just can't find any.

Frustrated, I closed my laptop. I seriously don't want to call my parents for financial assistance, I really want to develop myself.

And if I were to call them up right now, I can hear my dad saying I told you he really won't give up the chance.

Well I can't sit down sulking all day. Glancing at the clock I noticed Evelyn would be done with work now since it's a Friday and Friday means half working day. I took out my phone to call her and she picked on the second ring.

"Hey girlie, I'm glad you called. It's Friday let's go out" typical Lyn

"Go out? I was hoping we stay in and have a movie night" I responded

"Nononononono we are going out to have fun and that's on a periodt" she said hysterically

"Does that mean watching a movie with me ain't fun, wooow I'm definitely not hurt right now" I knew it won't work trying to convince her hence I made myself pitiful. I wish I didn't though

"Don't use that tone with me. You think you're hurt, I'm heartbroken right now you know. I told you I'm man hunting and you want us to stay in all day... Do you honestly think any man will come knocking on your's or mine door and say hi Evelyn, I am the guy you have been searching for, well heaven heard your wish and sent me over no girl that shit won't happen unless I go out there... And you been the good friend you shouldn't let me out alone" wow she deserves an Oscar.

"Why ain't you an actress again" she didn't respond "fine you win....."

"Great I'll be there in 10. See ya soon" and that ladies and gents she ended her call.

I don't have problems with nightclubs though I wished everyone could drink to their limit and not make a mess.

Well I should probably get myself into the party mood. Going through my playlist I decided to listen to my all-time favorite band song BTS louder than bomb.

Louder than bombs I sing (ah ah ah ah)

I sang aloud with them. Well my voice definitely did a huge sin against the Perfection.

"I wish you stayed quiet" Lyn heartlessly commented. I didn't know she was in here anyway.

"Heartless bitch" I murmured "thanks for your compliment darling" I sarcastically responded

"Anytime, well let's get ready we got a long night ahead of us" she tried dragging me inside

"It's still early" I argued

"No it's not" she argued back. Finally we decided to order in some food and after eating we get ready for the long night.
