CONRI'S POV

It was past midnight when we just got into bed and we heard the cars coming into the mansion. The scent of Tizheruk, Haida, and Godmother hit my nostrils.

"They are back, "I stated, and Lucian was already out of bed, dressing up.

We rushed downstairs just as Godmother walked into the house, followed by Haida, and finally, Tizheruk appeared behind him. Two Japanese men stood tall by the door. I could sense a Honshi wolf and the other was a serpent.

In seconds, our minds merged, and I was able to see the flashbacks of his attacks and how he recovered. His serpent beast healed him and then healed the Honshi wolf.

"How the fuck did you get hurt? " I growled at Tizheruk.

Haida chuckled and said, "How much are the two of you connected?"

I took a step back and ran a hand through my hair in frustration. The internal injuries were bad and I could bet Tizheruk never revealed it to anyone. He had stayed away for days, healing himself.
