43 Dating at least once [Bonus chapter]

Junwei arrived at his office and asked about the arrangements for the shoot.

"Yes, Sir. Everything is ready. Last night when the order came everything was prepared," Secretary Wang Zexi said and looked at the screen of the tablet in his hand.

"This is the plan provided by the photographer, Miss Linda. She thinks the angle and lighting will be appropriate in this way," Wang Zexi forwarded the tablet to Junwei. He checked the plan and the car's direction and angle, which seemed good to him.

"Let's go there. Call Ciao Hong and tell him to be on time with Miss Lin. I don't want any delays today," Junwei affirmed and walked past him. Wang Zexi took out the phone from his pocket and called Ciao Hong.

On the other hand, Junwei headed to the Sunshine Tech Production Department, where the arrangements for the photo shoot were made. The employees present there greeted him.

Entering the hall, he found Sophie was already present there with her manager and her team. He didn't expect her to come early and it truly surprised her.

Linda Cheng saw Junwei and walked up to him. They exchanged a warm handshake while greeting each other. "Mr. Yu, I am surprised you actually signed an actress as the brand ambassador for your new car model," she stated with a glint in her eyes.

"Grandpa decided that we should sign Miss Lin as the brand ambassador," Junwei stated, forcing a smile on his lips.

"It's going to be a great launch this time. Miss Lin has a huge following not only within the country but also outside China," Linda said.

"I hope so," Junwei stated.

"I have a suggestion for Mr. Yu. May I speak about it?" Linda queried.

"Ahh, sure," Junwei allowed her.

"Miss Lin should drive the car and we will take multiple shots of it. Mr. Yu should be next to Miss Lin in the car. This concept will sell more... Kind of a couple concept," Linda explained to Junwei.

"A couple concept?" Junwei arched his eyebrow.

"Yes. The day of the launch is the time when most marriages happen in China. Also, the car price range is wonderful in my eyes for even middle-income age groups. I think CEO Yu should think about this once," Linda asserted and waited for Junwei's response.

She glanced at Wang Zexi, who also arrived at the spot. They both greeted each other.

Junwei contemplated for a minute and then said, "I loved your suggestion. We should go forward with this."

"That's great, Mr. Yu. I shall instruct my team about the photoshoot which we will begin shortly," Linda asserted and went ahead.

Wang Zexi glanced at Junwei and asked him if he was ready for this couple concept photoshoot.

"Of course!" Junwei said while sitting on the chair which an employee from the advertisement department brought chairs for them. Wang Zexi sat next to Junwei and asked him if wasn't scared of rumors about them.

"We took down the posts regarding your relationship with her a few days ago. If the new model vehicle is promoted on this concept, then some consequences you've to face," Wang Zexi advised him.

"I don't use social media," Junwei said.

"Your PR team handles that. People will speculate about your relationship with Miss Lin," Wang Zexi stated.

"Excuse me, Sir," an employee came to them and informed them about the visit of Eun Jae, the South Korean actor.

"Was an actor supposed to be here?" Wang Zexi confusedly mumbled.

"What does he want?" Junwei asked.

"He has brought two coffee trucks for Miss Lin and her team, the production team, and the advertisement team. Also, his manager said that Miss Lin asked Eun Jae to meet here," the employee replied.

"Since they are known people, then you can bring Mr. Eun Jae here," Wang Zexi stated. The employee nodded and walked away.

Junwei's attention remained fixed on Sophie, who was engrossed in instructing her makeup artist while holding a mirror.

"Your mother called me earlier. She looked worried," Wang Zexi told Junwei. "Is everything alright at your home?" he asked while being concerned.

"Grandpa wants me to date the woman of his choice now. Did he send the details to you?" Junwei queried.

"Yes, I got his message earlier. Her name is Mia Wu, and she holds the position of Chief Editor at a news channel," Wang Zexi confirmed. "Sir, perhaps you could consider dating at least once. There's no harm in exploring it," he advised Junwei.

"Well, my decision will remain the same. No matter how many dates Grandpa arranges for me, I am going to reject all," Junwei asserted.

"Your grandfather wants your good. Everyone thinks you are stuck at one person," Wang Zexi proclaimed.

"Is her make-up not done yet?" Junwei asked in a loud enough voice to fall into Sophie's ears.

She turned her gaze toward him. "It's almost finished," Sophie replied.

"Please take your position then," Junwei directed her.

Sophie signaled the makeup artist to stop and proceeded to the stage that had been set up for the photoshoot.

Wang Zexi realized Junwei ignored his words intentionally since he didn't want to talk about it. He wondered if Junwei would ever start living his life.

Eun Jae also arrived at the location, observing Sophie as she struck her best poses. A smile graced his lips at the sight of her after a long time. His gaze shifted toward Junwei, who was engrossed in examining a file in his hand.

Leaving his seat, Junwei approached the camera to review the images displayed on the screen.

"Aren't they look perfect?" Linda asked Junwei.

"They are," Junwei agreed with her and looked at Sophie, who was smiling as her hairdresser brushed her hair.

"Let's give Miss Lin a break, then we will move to the second part," Linda stated.

Junwei hummed as he pushed his hands into his trousers pockets. Ciao Hong informed Sophie about the break, who stepped down the stage and waved at Eun Jae.

Junwei noticed the two of them smiling and laughing with each other. He glared in her direction when Sophie's gaze locked with his.

She felt a bit awkward, wondering why he was glaring at her.

"Sophie, I have extended my plan and convinced my agency to stay here for a week. I did not get any leave in the long run, so it was the perfect time for me. Since you also don't have much work to do, then we should go out frequently. I hope you will help me explore some beautiful places here," Eun Jae said.

"Of course, I will be your guide here. I am happy you took a week's break from work," Sophie asserted when Junwei's voice reverberated in their ears.

"Miss Lin isn't free for this entire week. So, you may need to find another guide for yourself," Junwei pronounced while keeping his eyes fixed on Sophie.
