Zhexuan Is Mine

See Weiling saw Lu Jingyi exited when she lifted her head. She quickly caught up to her.

"Wait, Miss Lu."

Lu Jingyi stopped as someone called her. And that someone was the one who called her petty.

Lu Jingyi secretly clicked her tongue and quickly put on a fake smile to the girl who called her.

"Is something the matter?"

"Do you mind having a chat?"

"I'm sorry, miss. I still have work to do."

"Lunch time is not over yet, just twenty minutes will do."

Lu Jingyi looked at her watch and indeed she still have another half an hour before work starts. Besides, she's a boss herself.

She can get back to work anytime but she had principles.

"Okay, twenty minutes it is. Let's go to the cafe over there. Are you fine with it?"

"Yes. Let's go."

Both of them then went to the cafe opposite Mo's Group. When they entered, they searched for a table near the corner of the wall.

See Weiling didn't want anyone to eavesdrop their conversation. That's why she took the lead in selecting the position of the table.

The waiter came and greeted them and waited for their order. As usual, Lu Jingyi liked to drink Matcha Latte and ordered it and See Weiling went on ordering black coffee.

See Weiling heard what she order and smirked. Latte? Latte is for children. It seems that Lu Jingyi was not fond of bitter coffee.

"Do you not like coffee that's bitter?"

"Yes. Is there a problem?"

"No. Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm See Weiling. My family and I came here to expand our business and had a collaboration with Zhexuan."

Lu Jingyi fowned upon hearing See Weiling calling Mo Zhexuan intimately.

See Weiling was satisfied by her reaction when she called Mo Zhexuan in an intimate way.

"Oh, is that right?"

"Yes. Zhexuan is really a capable man. He's good-looking and intelligent in business. He must need a capable woman by his side to lessen his burden. Don't you think so?"

Still had a smile appeared on her face, Lu Jingyi said nothing.

Just then, the waiter came with their drinks and excused himself after that.

Lu Jingyi took a sip of her latte.

See Weiling heard no response from her and assumed that she's too angry that she didn't want to said anything.

She smirked and thought that Lu Jingyi had lost her self-confidence in front of her. But then, Lu Jingyi opened her mouth and spoke.

"Miss See. Zhexuan is mine. I knew your intention and it was crystal clear as the sky. You are implying that I had no business skills to help my fiancé, right? You are also implying that I'm not fit to be with him. Do you think you are a fit then?"

Lu Jingyi did not fazed at her mockery. She's rational enough to counter her every sentence.

"Of course I am. I'm much better than you. I had a PHD in overseas in business course. I'm certain my skills can help Zhexuan to reach a greater height."

See Weiling's eyes sparkled when she imagined she was the one beside Mo Zhexuan and he looked at her gently and praised her for helping him.

Lu Jingyi snickered by See Weiling's delusional self. See Weiling snapped out of it when she heard a low laugh from Lu Jingyi.

"What are you laughing at?!"

"At you, of course. Isn't it obvious?"

See Weiling was boiling in anger inside her heart. But then, she calmed down. She thought Lu Jingyi might be jealous that she had skills that can help Mo Zhexuan and she doesn't have.

In her own deep thought, she was satisfied by Lu Jingyi's jealousy.
