You're Not Invited

"Why are you here?"

Mo Zhexuan send cold daggers to her as he spoke.

"It's a coincidence that I'm here. Since it's a coincidence, let's eat together."

See Weiling then went to Lu Jingyi's side and linked her arms to Lu Jingyi's. Lu Jingyi wanted to retract her arm but was locked with hers.

'Social distancing! Social distancing!' Lu Jingyi's mind repeated.

"Please don't push me away. I just wanted to eat with my idol."

"You can't. We're going to have a family dinner. You're not invited."

Mo Zhexuan kept no mercy and shooing her away. He doesn't want his appetite to disappear.

See Weiling pouted and looked at Lu Jingyi. Lu Jingyi pursed her lips. She getting a headache.

She turned to Mo Zhexuan and talked to him. She said to let See Weiling to eat with them only once.

She then turned to See Weiling and made her promised only this once she get to dine in with them.

See Weiling had no choice but to agreed even if she didn't want to.

Once it was settled, they went in to the reserved room and waited Mo Zheyuan's arrival.

When they entered the room, See Weiling rushed to sat beside Lu Jingyi without giving Mo Zhexuan a chance to.

Mo Zhexuan's face was darkened and oozing out a murderous aura. If looks could kill, See Weiling had already been dead.

Since he didn't want Lu Jingyi to look troubled, he compromised this once. He then took the opposite seat of Lu Jingyi.

When Mo Zheyuan entered, the atmosphere was not quite pleasant. Therefore, no one talked until Mo Zheyuan introduced himself to Lu Jingyi.

"Nice to meet you, Sister-in-law. I'm Mo Zheyuan. Please feel free call me Zheyuan. We're a family."

"Nice to meet you too, Zheyuan. I'm Lu Jingyi."

The atmosphere went quiet again until the waiter came to ordered their food.

After that, Mo Zheyuan continued to talk to keep the mood going.

"So, who's this beautiful lady beside Sister-in-law?"

"She--"

"I'm See Weiling and I'm Sister Jingyi's friend and number one fan of hers. I strived to be a better person and learned from Sister Jingyi."

Before Lu Jingyi could talked, See Weiling cut her and spoke instead.

Mo Zheyuan could grasp what really happened since he saw Mo Zhexuan's gloomy look.

Mo Zheyuan secretly laughed inside his heart. It seems like Mo Zhexuan had a love rival. He bet he was frustrated that he didn't get to sit beside Sister-in-law.

See Weiling was a capable one that goes head to head with Mo Zhexuan in clinging Lu Jingyi.

Lu Jingyi felt bad because he asked Mo Zhexuan to comprise to her request of letting See Weiling ate with them.

She promised herself that no more next time.

Then, the waiter entered and served all of their food before leave.

"Ahem.... So, let's eat."

Mo Zheyuan tried to set the mood but failed to do so. Only See Weiling was happily eating her food.

Mo Zhexuan saw Lu Jingyi had been poking her food instead of eating. He felt bad as his emotion had affected her.

He then cut the steak and replaced the uncut steak of Lu Jingyi's to her since they ordered the same thing from the menu.

Lu Jingyi looked up and saw Mo Zhexuan smiled gently at her and told her to eat which made her feel better.
