Wang Jiasi & Ye Ruyi (18)

While he was staring at her dazedly, Ye Ruyi stepped forward and gave a peck on his cheek.

"Thank you."

After that, she closed the door leaving the dumbfounded Wang Jiasi outside.

W-What did she just do to him?!

Did she just kiss him??

His heart was like a volcano that just had a eruption and the lava melted his heart. His heart was beating so hard even he can heard it himself.

Even though it's just a peck on the cheek, he was overwhelmed with joy.

Did she forgive him?

His lips curled up widely and he couldn't contain his happiness inside his heart. He beamed with joy.

When he went down from the elevator, he bid goodbye to the security guard with a wide smile on his face.

The security looked at him in surprise. Did he encounter something happy?

When he came here before, he didn't even said goodbye to him.

Despite his thoughts, he bid goodbye to Wang Jiasi.

Wang Jiasi boarded his car and kept thinking of Ye Ruyi's action. Ahhhhh!!!! How he wished to hug her right now!!

Before he drove back, he promised Ye Ruyi to do a DNA test. He called someone to take the samples to the hospital before going home.

The next day.

Since it's Sunday, they have no work. Wang Jiasi had the result in his hand and he immediately called Ye Ruyi that he's coming over.

Ye Ruyi heard the result was out, she can't help but feeling nervous. She waited at the door for Wang Jiasi.

Soon after, Wang Jiasi arrived and he rang the doorbell. Ye Ruyi heard the doorbell and immediately opened the door.

She invited Wang Jiasi in and they went to the living room. Wang Jiasi handed the DNA test to Ye Ruyi before he sat down.

Ye Ruyi took the DNA test and her hands tighten when she held it. She looked at the test result in her hand and it showed that she's indeed the granddaughter of the old man.

She didn't know why but she felt happy. Maybe it's because she finally has a family but why did she end up in the orphanage?

Wang Jiasi observed her expression. It seemed that she's not that happy with the result.

"What are you going to do now?"

"I will tell the old man about the result but I'm not sure about accepting him as my grandfather. I don't know what to do."

"Whatever your decision is, I will support you."

Ye Ruyi was touched by his words. She smiled as she was happy by his gentleness.

"I have decided to forgive you for the action of stealing my inner wear."

When Wang Jiasi heard that she forgave him, he was on cloud nine. He had been waiting for her forgiveness and finally he did it.

"Can I hug you or hold your hand now?"

There's sparkle on his eyes like a child as he waited for her answer. Ye Ruyi's lips curled up and she had a playful smile on her face.

"What do you think?"

"No?"

Ye Ruyi got up went to sit beside him and hugged him initiatively. Wang Jiasi's body stiffened by her hug. His hands didn't know where to put.

"Of course you can. I'm your girlfriend, aren't I?"

Wang Jiasi's heart wanted to explode and his hands that were hanging on air finally place around her waist and hugged her.

Her fragrance entered his nose and his first thought was that she smelled so good. Wang Jiasi hugged her tighter because he didn't want to let go to early.
