Wang Jiasi was flabbergasted. He didn't expect them to break into her house just to take her hair for DNA test.

He looked at Ye Ruyi who's sitting by his side. He saw her expression was stiff. Her smile was there but it didn't feel like she's smiling.

Blue veins popped on her forehead. The hell with these people!! Broke into her house like it was a normal thing.

"Okay. You contained my hair but I still don't trust you. I want to test the DNA at the hospital myself and confirm."

Ye Ruyi kept a professional smile like she always do. But in her heart, she kept cursing the poeple in front of her.

"Okay. If you don't believe me. You can go and test it again."

After that, the old man signaled the bodyguard on his left with a gesture. The bodyguard immediately understood what he wanted.

The bodyguard took out a box and opened it. He took the tweezers out of the box.

He then carefully plucked out a hair from the old man. The bodyguard on the old man's right side took out a small plastic to store the hair.

Then, it was given to Ye Ruyi.

She took it and gave a speechless look at them.

Wang Jiasi, on the other hand, have been wondering the old man's identity. Who was he?

The aura he gave had a nobility on it. And his look was quite familiar. He might have seen him somewhere before.

"Since we'll have to wait for the result, please leave a contact number."

The old man smiled and took a pen from his pocket while the bodyguard took out a small paper for him.

He wrote his contact number on the paper and put it on the coffee table oj front of him.

"Well, then. I will contact you when the result is out. If there's nothing else, I'll send you off to the door."

After that, Ye Ruyi sent off the guests. After she closed the door, her professional smile faded away.

Even if the old man was her grandfather, she didn't have any close feelings for him. She has been an orphan ever since she was a baby.

She heard from the director of the orphanage that she was sent there when she was only one month old.

She had been wanting and waiting to be adopted because she wanted her parents' love.

She was envious of the other children who had parents and the children who successfully got adopted.

Gradually, when she grew up, she didn't care anymore.

She liked her current life and she didn't want to change it.

Wang Jiasi looked at her trouble face and went up to her. He pulled her into his embrace.

Ye Ruyi was surprised by his action but she let herself leaned onto him and hugged him back.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes. Thank you."

"That's what your boyfriend should do."

Wang Jiasi felt proud while he said that which successfully made Ye Ruyi laughed.

"Do you want to eat takeout? I'm lazy to cook anyway."

"Sure. I'll make a call to order. What do you want to eat?"

"Spicy beef noodles."

Wang Jiasi nodded and make a call while Ye Ruyi tidied up and put away the stuff they just bought.

After Wang Jiasi was done ordering, he saw Ye Ruyi was dazing at the fridge. She must be thinking of what happened just now.

Just when he wanted to talk to her, she suddenly closed the fridge and turned to look at Wang Jiasi.

"Can you do me a favor?"
