Pathetic Self

By the time when his parents urged him to come back and help them in business, he decided to once again face his own problem when it came to Lu Jingyi.

He decided to confess to her when he came back and ended this feelings. But when he heard that Lu Jingyi broke up with that guy, he was overjoyed.

Overjoyed that he may still had a chance.

After that, what he heard from them that Lu Jingyi had a fiancé since her childhood and was continuing their engagement after she broke up.

What a twist. The fact that he thought he still had a chance was something he didn't feel good about.

Even though he decided he wanted to confess to Lu Jingyi regardless that she already had someone else, he still coward away.

How pathetic he was. He looked up at the stars above him again. He made a wish to the stars. He wished he could be braver and had more courage inside him.

By the time he drank empty the bottle, he was already drunk. He then walked in a zig zag way to the bathroom and furiously splashed water to his face.

He slapped himself hard to sober up. He looked at his face reflected on the mirror. His face, he wanted to punch it.

He wanted to punch his stupid and cowardly self. Sighing, he washed himself and went downstairs for dinner where Mother Lu was waiting.

"Having fun today?"

"Yes, meeting an old friend I told you yesterday."

"So, when will you have time to spend with me?"

"Huh? But we see each other everyday."

"We didn't get to see each other today."

"It's only for a day."

"I miss you."

That 'I miss you' was like a gun shot through her heart. Lu Jingyi blushed even though it was just his voice.

Mo Zhexuan, on the other side of the phone, was in his room putting a gentle smile when he said 'I miss you'. To him, Lu Jingyi was like an antidote to his poison.

In his life, he only need Lu Jingyi by his side to survive.

"I miss you too."

Lu Jingyi's soft voice was like music to his ear. His smile got wider as he imagined her blushing face when she said that.

"Are you blushing?"

Was he a psychic? How did he know?

"I'm just kidding. Let's have a date tomorrow. I want to be with you the whole day. I'll pick you up at ten in the morning."

"Okay. Then, see you tomorrow."

Lu Jingyi had a blissful smile on her face after she hung up the call. She then laid on her bed and hugged her pillow. She even buried her face in the pillow.

She can't wait for tomorrow. Being with Mo Zhexuan was something she will never get bored at.

He had many surprising ideas and he would made her the happiest girl in the universe.

Wherever she was, he would always be there. She felt so blessed after meeting him. God had given her the best gift in the world.

On the other hand, Mo Zhexuan had planned everything for their date tomorrow. It will be everything she likes and always wanted to do.

Mo Zhexuan dailed Assistant Yan for preparation checked. Assistant Yan were asleep at the moment. He was startled by the ringing sound of his phone.

He wanted to curse the one who called him at this hour. But when he saw the name on the phone, he immediately accepted the call.

Haiz.... Life was hard on him. Poor Assistant Yan.
