Xie Beila's face turned pale and wanted to strangle Chen Lili and smack her lips.

"Doctor Xie. I invited Doctor Chen to dinner and I wish to dine with her alone. If you excuse us, we would like you to leave."

Luo Yixuan looked at Xie Beila with a serious yet cold expression.

Xie Beila couldn't believe that she was chased out by them especially Luo Yixuan, who she's in love with.

Taking her purse, she stood up and left dejectedly. She was utterly humiliated by her them.

Once she was gone, Chen Lili felt like the air was fresher than before. She finally could breathe.

"Lili, order anything you like. It's my treat."

Since the pester was gone, she happily opened the menu and ordered a few dishes.

After that, they talked for a while without mentioning the unhappy things with Xie Beila before the dishes were served.

Not long after, the dishes were served. Chen Lili was as hungry as a wolf. She picked up her chopsticks and started to eat.

"Damn! These dishes are f*cking delicious."

"Mind your language."

Chen Lili was surprised that Luo Yixuan lectured her with her language. However, she didn't mind. She took the opportunity to tease him.

"Sorry. I can't control my mouth. If my boyfriend told me to stop, I might listen to him."

As she said, she winked at Luo Yixuan playfully and smiled mischievously.

Luo Yixuan was speechless at how the conversation turned into this.

He didn't want to be teased and so, he teased back.

"Then, I will be your boyfriend stopping you from using such vulgar words."

Luo Yixuan smiled gently at Chen Lili, who was frozen and her eyes were wide opened.

She was shocked to hear that. Did he say he wanted to be her boyfriend?

"Y-You.....What did you say?"

She wanted to make sure she didn't hear wrongly.

Luo Yixuan put down his chopsticks and took something out of his pocket. A small beautiful ocean blue box was handed to Chen Lili.

"Chen Lili, I have developed feelings for you in these past weeks. I told you before I wasn't ready for a relationship. But now, I don't want to regret when I found out I like you. I don't want to wait and I'm afraid I will lose my chance."

Luo Yixuan already lost his chance to confess to Lu Jingyi when he loved her so much. He didn't want to repeat the same mistake.

He could slowly fall for Chen Lili deeply after finding out he liked her. He took the opportunity and asked her out.

Whether she accept or not, it depends on her. He wouldn't regret confessing to her.

She was still holding the box and looking dumbfounded at Luo Yixuan's confession to her.

Luo Yixuan saw that she was frozen and didn't even move or talk. He waved his hand in front of her eyes and hoping she would respond.
