1 How it all started

A woman in her mid thirties is seen marching in the basement prison. "Ye Wen stop being stubborn you'll marry Wu Xue." She roared in anger. 

Inside the basement layed a lifeless Ye Wen who looked dirty, fragile and timid. Her long black hair was tangled, her clothes were ragged, her skin lifeless and ashy, her body thin and weak. She looked really haggard. 

As she was not given a response from Ye Wen Chu Chenhai became agitated. "This is the last time I ask politely. Do a good deed and save face for your father. If you don't marry Wu Xue our family will suffer bankruptcy. Do you want us to be poor and live on the streets." 

Hearing this Ye Wen struggled to stand up and met the woman's fierce gaze. "I would rather die than marry Wu Xue for money and status. You can go ahead and kill me but I'll never never stoop so low. 

Chu Chenhai was angered to the bone. 

"Open the door." She commanded the bodyguard behind her. 

The bodyguard opened the door and dragged Ye Wen out. 

The bodyguard grabbed Ye Wen's hair and made her face Chu Chenhai 

Chu Chenhai crouched and grabbed Ye Wen's chin forcefully, making Ye Wen look at her. 

"If you don't do it then we'll have no choice but to force you into it." 

Ye Wen looked at Chu Chenhai with a menacing gaze and smirked. 

"Why dont your precious daughters marry him for all I care." 

"Sister don't talk to mother like that she's only looking out for us." 

A voice that belonged to Ye FenXu sounded in the room. 

At the mentioning of the word 'mother' Ye Wen's body stiffened. "What mother are you talking about? I clearly remember that I have one mother and she is not a mistress and her name doesn't sound as vile as Chu Chenhai. So I don't know the mother you're talking about." 

"Smack!" 

Chu Chenhai angrily slapped Ye Wen hard across the face making her spit a mouthful of blood. 

She was furious. "You bitch don't forget who has been taking care of you this past years." 

Ye Wen couldn't help but laugh out loud. "Huh. What are you talking about. I made the Ye family and I can bring it down with me. My mother left Xia Group in my hands. So tell me who do you think you are. You're nothing than a promiscuous bitch who doesn't know her place." 

The coldness in her voice was evident and had no friendliness in it. 

Ye Yushen was walking to the basement when he heard her insult. 

"You wench. If I had known I would give birth to a useless daughter like you I would have never married your mother." 

Ye Wen stood up and slapped her father hard. Using all the strength in her arm. 

Her expression was as dark as the night making her look like the guardian of hell himself. "Well, good father please keep your words to yourself if you don't want to die early. So shut up." 

Chu Chenhai looked at Ye Wen with bloodshot eyes. "Make her kneel before me." She commanded the bodyguards. 

The bodyguards didn't show Ye Wen mercy and pushed her down making her kneel before Chu Chenhai. 

Ye FenXu was agitated at Ye Wen's stubbornness and slapped her. 

"Smack!" 

Another slap echoed in the room. 

Ye Wen who wasn't affected by the pain just smirked at her 'loving' family. "Are you done because if I were you I wouldn't slap someone so weakly." She was taunting Ye FenXu. 

Her taunting succeed and Ye FenXu came forward to give her another slap. 

This time her 'good' and 'kind' Father held Ye FenXu back. "XuXu don't listen to her she's just taunting you besides we need her intact if we want to secure the financial backup from the Wu family." 

Chu Chenhai took out a wipe from her bag and wiped Ye FenXu's hands. "Dear if you touch something dirty like this you'll get infected with germs so be a good a girl and listen to your father." 

Ye FenXu calmed down but glared fiercely at Ye Wen. 

"Honey if she won't obey then we'll force her." Chu Chenhai sweet talked Ye Yushen. 

Ye Yushen looked at Ye Wen with a gaze full of pity. "Beat her up until she has a few broken bones but avoid her face." He ordered the bodyguard. 

"Yes sir." The bodyguard replied. 

The bodyguard began beating Ye Wen mercilessly. You could hear the horrifying sounds of bones cracking. 

Ye Yushen turned to look at Chu Chenhai. " Let's go." 

When they were leaving Ye FenXu looked back at Ye Wen and cursed inwardly. 'I underestimated her she's really stubborn but she'll yield soon if not then I'll just kill her. What use is she anyway.' 

As she was cursing she didn't know that the the latter was also cursing at all of them. 'Enjoy luxury while you can because soon enough you'll be begging in the streets.' 

Ye Wen endured the pain as she was being beaten. 

She wished she could tear apart Ye Yushen. 'Just you wait Ye Yushen. My name won't be Ye Wen If I don't take my revenge. I'll make it slow and painful. You'll regret messing with the wrong person.' 

The night went on as she was beaten by the bodyguard. 

Finally the bodyguard stopped at sunrise and left her laying on the cold hard floor. 

Her body was screaming in pain but she didn't want to give Chu Chenhai the satisfaction of seeing her in pain and agony. 

No f*cking way would she do that. She would rather die than give her the satisfaction. 

Ye Wen didn't know how she slept until she was woken up by a maid who had come to serve her food. The maid kicked her awake causing her to writhe in pain but didn't show it. 

"Here's your food." The maid said with a satisfied expression. 

The maid had a grudge against Ye Wen and cursed at her. 'You rich people overwork us now you're getting what you deserve.' 

Ye Wen didn't have the appetite nor the mood to eat it. "I don't want your filthy food. Keep it." 

"Splat!" The sound of food being thrown was heard. 

She threw the food at the maids face. 

The maid was so angered and slapped Ye Wen. 

"Smack." A slap echoed in the room. 

"You bitch know your place. I'm even generous enough to accept bringing you food." The maid roared. 

Ye Wen couldn't help but sneer. "Oh to what do I owe your generosity." 

The maid was angered and stomped her way out. 

Later on Ye Yushen came with bodyguards and a doctor. 

The bodyguards opened the door and dragged her out once more. 

Ye Yushen looked at her and regretted having a disgraceful daughter like her. "Dr. Xi inject her with the anesthetic." 

Dr. Xi took out a syringe and filled it with the anesthetic. 

He flicked the needle and turned to Ye Wen 

Ye Wen didn't like needles. 

She remembered her mother being injected with many needles to save her life but had no effect to which she died. 

"Get away from me. Don't come close to me." She shrieked. 

She tried to run but the bodyguards knocked her down with force resulting to her body being paralyzed. 

"Move the hair from her neck so that the doctor can get a clean shot." Ye Yushen ordered. 

The bodyguards nodded in response. "Yes sir" 

The bodyguards moved the hair that was covering he neck aside leaving her neck bare and defenseless. 

Ye Wen tried to move her limbs but couldn't because of the pain in her legs. 

The doctor kneeled next to her and injected the anesthetic in her. 

Ye Wen lost consciousness and fell into the bodyguard's arms. 

"Take her to the main villa to get cleaned up." Ye Yushen ordered 

"Yes sir." The bodyguards replied emotionless. 

The bodyguard lifted her horizontally and made his way to the main Villa. 

When the maids in the main Villa saw her bruises they all felt pity for her. 

They're young lady was beaten up so badly. All the maids hurriedly tend to her wounds in haste. 

Everyone felt guilty as they looked at her wounds.
