Celestial body

A world where only body cultivation was practiced. Training the fleshly body till it became unparalleled and unrivaled became the goal of many. Cross was like every normal body cultivator who didn't aspire for much. His story changed when he accidentally swallowed a strange seed that began to grow in his body. This suprisingly granted him divine strength. This new found strength gave him the hope of climbing the top of the ladder ascending the skies like a celestial.

Vine inscriptions

The sun rose from the horizon, bathing the world with it's scorching light.

Cross who was already awake, stretched his body lazily. He hoped the new day would bring him a reason to smile.

"Uhn.." Cross suddenly noticed that his body seemed different. He felt very energetic and refreshed, the impussiant feeling that always engulfed him was not there, it was like as though he could destroy the whole city, with a swing of his axe.

Cross quickly got down from the bed and proceeded to pratice fist techniques.

He clenched his hands tight, and like lightning he threw his fist into the air.

Boom!

Accompanying the force of the fist was a loud tiger roar that reverberated through the room.

"What!" Cross stared dazed at his fist. The fist technique, he just used was called Three tiger roar, a low human class martial technique.

Human class martial techniques were the lowest set of techniques. It was splitted into three ranging from, low, middle and high.

The technique which Cross just executed was the lowest of the lowest. Although Cross lacked enough talent towards body cultivation, it didn't mean he was lacking in talent towards martial techniques.

Cross was stupified at how loud the tiger roar was. The louder it was, the stronger the power behind the fist.

"When did i become this strong? " Cross thought, and couldn't help but stare at his fist.

To verify if he wasn't hallucinating, Cross punched the air once again.

Boom!

Boom!

Like as though he stroked his fist twice. Two tiger roars abruptly echoed sonorously through out the room.

Cross' heart couldn't help but beat fast. He could easily tell that something had happened to him, whatever it was, it had somehow increased the strength of his body.

He closed his eyes and immediately began to scan his body. The sight that met him, almost made him scream in fear.

His bones and internal organs were coated in a dark light, inscriptions of vines filled his body like parasitic cells.

"Could this be what i accidentally swallowed" Cross stared at the dark seed, that was gently floating in his abdomen.

Words could not explain how baffled and terrified Cross was. Even though he discovered his strength had grown, he didn't know what the seed was, seeing his internals covered with strange inscriptions even made bothered.

What if plants started growing in his body and he later turned into a tree.

It was like the seed was some sort of parasite and he was the host.

"So, what if i turn into a plant, at least i would be able be fight for myself with this new strength"A resolute glint suddenly flashed across his eyes. He hated the fact that he was always bullied, if he was able to overpower his enemies with his own strength, he would be happy, even if ended up turning to a tree.

"Not like i can do anything" Cross thought aloud. Since he was powerless against it, he could only check out what benefit came with the seed.

Cross sat in a lotus position and began to cultivate his body technique. Since he was a disciple of the Gold Faction, he praticed the 'Gold searing body technique'. It made the body as hard as gold and helped with unlocking the body starpoints.

"This speed!" Cross couldn't help but scream. If his previous cultivation speed was like that of a snail, then his current speed was as fast as a cheetah.

"Haha!" Cross laughed hysterically, like as though he was deranged. He had never felt this happy for years.

What if he turned to a tree in the end, who cares. At least he would be remebered as a genius.

He tested every possible change in his body, and came to the conclusion that his body had evolved. Be it his cultivation talent or his body strength, it had all transformed.

"It would be easier for me to kill demonic beasts now" Cross smiled. He picked his rusty axe, strapped it to his back and raised his feet to leave his room. He was going to find his only friend in the school.

....

"Brother, you seem very happy today" Firefall couldn't help but stare blankly at Cross who stood in front of him.

"Is it bad that I'm" Cross replied with a grin.

Firefall raised his brows staring at Cross with a questioning gaze. He understood Cross well and he knew the latter was hardly happy, not that he didn't want to, but he was always facing one challenge or the other. For Cross to be this happy even after he was robbed a day before, he could easily tell, Cross was hiding something.

"Let's go hunt" Cross uttered and then began to walk. Firefall didn't argue as he followed behind Cross.

They were just about to leave the outer court of the Gold Faction when a mocking voice suddenly reached their ears.

"Two retards who decided to become friends!"

"Ignore him"

Firefall was about to halt his steps, but he suddenly heard Cross speak.

Although he was angry he decided to ignore the taunting voice.

"As I expected, not only are you weak you also lack the boldness of a cultivator"

Cross suddenly paused his steps. "Did you say we are weak?" Cross asked and turned his gaze to the owner of the voice.

"Yes and what can you do about it?" A young man with pale orange eyes, who had been previously trying to get their attention replied coldly. He was not expecting Cross to reply, the lad was usually taciturn and always avoided trouble.

"I was just wondering if young master Little Orange can show us how strong a cultivator should be!" Cross uttered with no expression on his face.

Hearing Cross' word, made the young man's face pale. His father who was an outer court elder, was the one who usually called him 'Little orange'.

He had warned his father to stop calling such childish name but the latter won't listen. A lot of people made fun of him, but they didn't dare say it to his face. But standing before him was someone bold enough to call him 'Little Orange' right to his face.

"Since you desire to know, I can show you!" Orange coldly replied. His true name was Orange till his father decided to twist it.

"Is young master Little Orange asking for a fight?" Cross asked with a smirk on his face. If it was a normal circumstance, he would leave without replying, but now that he had experienced a drastic transformation he was not going to bow his head again!
