The Trial (part 2)
It was midday on this planet by time Flash, hawkgirl, Superman, and John Jones arrived. Their entrance onto the planet made everyone including myself look up as they took down air crafts that were firing on them in the sky without hurting the pilots.
I made my way with the people of this world and joined the audience for the public trial. Not long after taking my seat, superman burned through the dome surrounding the court with his heat vision interrupting the court speaker.
Flash, who was carried by John Johns landed on the center of the court floor and looked around, speaking first as the others also flew down and landed beside him. "Is this some kind of trial?"
I looked up at GL John Stewart who was shaking his head and almost literally facepalming.
The tribunal judges spoke up, their voices echoing through the whole court room. "Remove the intruders immediately!"
I stood up and spoke not yet in my Alien disguise and currently wearing my Moonlight Knight costume. "Is this not a public trial? As long as they take their seats, it should be okay right?"
The 3 judges looked at me before looking back down at the four Justice League members. "Very well, you may take your seats in the gallery with the rest, but this tribunal will not tolerate any further outburst".
Superman thanked the judges and the four JL members all found seats near me. All of them giving me their own looks.
Superman spoke to me first "Thanks Moonlight Knight, if it werent for you we would have probably been kicked out".
I waved my hand at him "No, I'm sure you guys would have come up with your own way of attending the trial, I merely sped up the process. It's good to see you four".
The three nodded and looked forward as Kanjar Ro, the first witness came out and gave his testimony.
The speaker for the trial spoke up "Kanjar Ro, do you consent to us probing and displaying any and all memories you have?"
Kanjar Ro grunted, "I have nothing to hide". He then walked to the witness stand which was a large disc that hovered above the ground. After stepping on the disc, it flew up in front of the tribunal speaker.
"State your name and profession" the speaker said looking at the witness in front of him.
Kanjar Ro adjusted the helmet he was wearing while answering. "Kimjar Ro, I'm a Pirate."
Kimjar Ro then went on to explain how GL John Stewart had fired at his ship and then his pirate friends ships that led to one of the beams from his ring deflecting off the side of one of the ships and hitting magma on a nearby planet, which set off a chain reaction, resulting in the planet being destroyed.
"Three billion souls died from his actions" Kimjar Ro said in his closing statement. The crowd around me shocked at the witness testimony murmured in hushed voices.
I left the area and changed into my new alien singer persona as they were all caught up in the commotion, the league members were shook up by the testimony as well and hadn't noticed me leaving as the courts recess commenced.
The Judges, GL John stewart, the manhunters, and the speaker all left the courtroom, leaving only the people as they discussed the trial in shocked voices.
It was now or never. I walked out to the center of the court stage and pulled everything out of my system quickly. I didn't bother to hide anything, everyone would just assume I was using some type of pocket dimension storage tech or something. This wasn't earth, I had no reason to hide such matters.
I tapped into the system the judges had previously spoken through and then set up the stage. I did everything as fast as I could, in worry that I would be kicked off the stage any second.
I hit the lights in the court hall and spoke through the mic in the dark. "The green lanterns and heroes' like them fight for us every day asking for nothing in return, shouldn't we leave our hearts open for the possibility of GL John Stewarts innocence?
A few people including the league members in the above gallery all nodded their heads.
I looped a beat on my computer that I had hidden behind the stage and then hit play at the same time as I turned on the stage lights, their beams of different color putting on their own show as I began to sing. Staying as true to how it was originally sung as possible this time.

I looked around, the coast was clear. Still nobody running my way. The audience were all interested in the song, trying to discover it's meaning as they listened along. I continued to sing.

The flash had been bobbin his head alongside John Jones and a number of aliens around them. Superman and Hawkgirl had the usual serious faces on. The Manhunters either didn't care about my singing or they were too far away to know. I continued my song till the end.
