88 Doomsday (part 2)

As I was floating in the air, I felt it would be a great time to use my Ki blast's, but I didn't want Doomsday to adapt to them and wanted to try and win with my strength first. I could use it as a last resort and trump card if heed be. I also somewhat worried they would not do the job. I had no special moves like the great Saiyans Vegeta and Goku yet. 

Right now my Ki blasts were still just me releasing pure energy/power in the form of blast's or beams because I only had an elementary understanding of Ki and still hadn't practiced enough with it. I'll have to make it my priority after creating my own martial arts. I had already promised myself that I would before, but this experience with doomsday had solidified my resolve. 

Since I didn't want to use my Ki quite yet, I decided to hit him with my magical eye beams as he ran towards me. I hit him with pure Kryptonian Magic and no heat because to use the heat required Ki. When the beams hit him, he slowed down a bit and I could see that it was causing him great discomfort. Not wanting to let go of the opportunity I made for myself I rushed him and was about to start hitting and punching him again, but to my surprise he caught my arm as I threw the first punch and swung me onto the ground as he dislocated the arm he was holding in the process. 

Not stopping there, he stomped down on my body a number of times before throwing me into the air like he had done to Billy and Crush a bit ago, only this time, Doomsday was faster as he jumped into the air and punched me, sending me flying a mile away each time he caught up with crazy speed and punched me again. By time I could react, we had already found our way to downtown Smallville. Seeing the panic around us and not wanting to get anyone killed I grabbed onto Doomsday and shot upwards with him into the sky and kept going until we were in space. 

I couldn't breathe in space like Doomsday, but I could hold my breath for ridiculously long periods of time and didn't want the people in Smallville to get hurt by our fight. It was my only option currently. Doomsday was clearly faster than me now and I couldn't keep up. Opening my inventory I equipped the Extrasensory perception ring that I had picked up a while back on the Pirate ship. I originally kept it stored away to use against speedsters later if need be, but it appears that I would be equipping it for Doomsday first. 

As I stood flying in space mangled here and there by Doomsdays previous blows, I collected myself as Doomsday was about to attack me again. My body was sore, my bones were all broken but healing at a fast rate.

My body was covered in blood and I had no idea where the blood was coming from, but as soon as I had put on the ring, I had Immediately felt a sense of dread because I knew I couldn't avoid the already on coming punch as it slammed into my face, but before Doomsday could attack again, I was already aware of where the next punch was coming from and not only was I able to easily avoid it, but It felt like his blows had gone back to being as slow as before. The ring basically gave me a spider sense of sorts and made things appear slower to a certain extent. It wasn't Doomsday that was suddenly slower, my senses had just gotten better. 

I once again had the upper hand as I swiftly dodged each attack, buying time as my body healed at it's usual quick pace thanks to my magical bones and perfect skin, some things like my muscles, organs, and blood vessels took a lot longer to heal, but having my bones and skin being able to almost instantly repair helped me out more than enough and I was able to fight again after a short amount of dodging.

If I wasn't in the vacuum of space currently, I would have taken this moment to laugh in Doomsdays face, sadly it would have to wait. Rushing over to Doomsday I began to pummel on his face. Unlike before it wasn't as easy to damage him and he was slowly but surely adapting to my rings power. If I didn't settle him quickly, he would soon be over powering me again. 

Seeing the sun behind him, I grabbed hold of him and and flew towards it at my fastest speed, before launching him into it, I was happy to see him get swallowed up by the sun arcs of magma, but I then realized I was caught in the suns gravitational pull and could not get out of it as it slowly pulled me in, my body burning up more and more the closers I got to It. 

As I tried my best to escape the pull, I quickly realized I was not strong enough. My skin melted off and was replaced with new skin time and time again, I was now bald as the hair on my body had long ago burnt away, my bones felt like hot iron inside my body as my insides began to boil. I was being melted alive as my body did it's best to continuously heal me.

'F*ck, I'm so stupid' I couldn't help thinking. What an elementary mistake that has more than likely cost me my life. This was it, I was a goner. As my life began to flash before my eyes, I suddenly saw a beautiful woman with long black hair, ivory skin, wearing an Egyptian ankh around her neck appear before me. 

As I was awaiting my death she lightly touched my burning flesh and whispered sweetly near my ear. "A unique impossibility, how and why do you exist?" 

At this moment a man in a purple robe appeared beside the beautiful woman. The woman spoke to the man who had just arrived. "Destiny, why are you here?" 

The man named Destiny paid no attention to the beautiful woman and looked into my eyes as they started to melt away. After a while of contemplation, the man spoke to the beautiful woman. "What an absolute anomaly. Death, I'm afraid we have met our match. He exists and yet he shouldn't. He has life, but he was never born. He dies before our eyes, and yet you cannot collect his soul. He has a great fate, but at the same time I cannot see it. This must be the being that is the cause of the great disturbance. I have finally found him thanks to you". 

As I finally accepted my second death, I wondered what the hell these two were talking about.
