120 Confrontation

Catching up to my future son was simple and quick due to the fact that he and his girlfriend were not in rush and didn't know I was following them after they left the store. Sensing they had stopped down below me, I flew down until I spotted them. We all saw each other at the same time, but Before they could say anything I grabbed ahold of both of them and teleported to the barren world I had saved to my beaming room teleporter. Maybe because they didn't see me as an enemy, they just let it happen.

My future son spoke as soon as we appeared on the planet. "Sir, why have you brought us here? We are just tourist that were just visiting Moonlight City". 

Hearing his words I clicked my tongue. "Cut the crap, don't worry about the future either, simply knowing you are my future son and confronting you would have already changed the timeline or even erased your existence if it was going to. I have a couple of theories for why it hasn't, but I'll only share them with you if you save me some time and get real with me. What's your name kid?"

My future son looked over at his girlfriend who nodded to him before he looked back towards my direction to reply. "My name is Vegeta Zor-El and as you are aware I am indeed one of your sons. The person next to me is my girlfriend of three years Jenni. Please explain further why you think us meeting won't affect the timeline."

Not wanting them to flee while I questioned them, I quickly flashed in front of the young black woman named Jenni and ripped the legion ring off of her finger, before pocketing it. She may have been a speedster, but she hadn't expected the sudden thievery from a hero and father of her boyfriend so taking her ring was like taking candy from a baby. 

Turning my head to Vegeta Zor-El I spoke to him again. "Give me your ring first and then we will talk. That is the only way." I already had his girlfriends ring and I was between the two of them so I doubted he would try to leave without her, but I wasn't sure of that. I didn't really know what kind of person he was. 

Vegeta scowled at me. "I see that you even know about the legion rings. If you want my ring, you're going to have to take it from me, that is if you can...." 

Seeing that he was being serious, I didn't hold back as I flashed in front of him and punched his face as hard as I could sending him flying into the barren planets sky. Before I continued I looked back at Jenni. "Do you mind not intervening? I won't kill him." 

Jenny shook her head. "No I won't, but I am more worried about him killing you. You're not near as strong as you are from the time we come from and Vegeta Zor-El can beat almost anyone on earth except for future you and his youngest brother easily."

Hearing her words, I quickly flashed above Vegeta Zor-El as he was still flying and elbowed him in the gut, sending him to the ground below and causing the planet to tremble. I watched as he stood back up from the crater he created when his body hit the ground and was surprised he didn't have even a scratch on him. Realizing I needed to get a bit more serious I instantly changed to Super Saiyan One. 

Vegeta Zor-El smirked before powering up to Super Saiyan One himself. Auras usually matched the race of the person and his aura wasn't the standard for Saiyans. His first Super Saiyan form looked nothing like any Saiyan's I had seen before. His aura, eyes, and hair, were a shimmering green like the color of Kryptonite rocks. If I was honest with myself it looked very cool, but I had no time to admire his look because I could tell his Super Saiyan One was a lot stronger than my own. 

After being aware that his form was stronger than my own, I changed into Super Saiyan two which was currently my strongest form. In this form my speed was almost on par with The Flash's but still a little lacking. My strength could easily crush a Kryptonians though. Unluckily for me if he was born from Supergirl and Myself, he had full Kryptonian and Saiyan power. Looking at this planets nearby sun, I could only sigh in my heart for picking such a place. It was too late to regret. 

Vegeta Zor-El shot his eye beams my way which were even stronger and faster than Superman's and more on par with Darkseids omega beams because even his Kryptonian physiology had increased it's power with Super Saiyan One. It honestly wasn't fair, but at least his eye beams didn't follow me around. In this form I was fast enough to avoid the beams, but looked back as they continued to travel into the cosmos possibly destroying planets faraway. 

Realizing my speed was one of my biggest advantages in the fight with him, I sped over and put him into a full nelson and was about to do something similar to a suplex before Vegeta Zor-El slammed his head back into my face causing me near unbearable pain as I clutched it in agony. I had seen it coming, but because my arms had been occupied I couldn't avoid it. I had basically set myself up to be hit. 

Before I could recover he began to hit me with a flurry of punches and kicks. My beautiful pristine face started to bleed as I reached up and grabbed one of his legs that was aiming for my side. The blow still hit my side, but I now had a hold of him. Not wanting to waste the opportunity I held onto his leg and pushed forward making him lose balance and causing him to fall onto his back. I quickly sat on top of his chest and started pounding his face with my fist. Because he was almost as strong and fast as me, my martial arts training really began to shine. 

Just when I thought I was going to end this, he suddenly had something in his hand and threw it into my face causing me temporary eye pain and near blindness. I had no idea when and where he had gotten whatever it was he threw at me. It was like it had just appeared in his hand. He quickly got off the ground as I brushed away at my eyes trying to free them of whatever was causing me such pain.

Looking through eyes filled with tears and barely being able to see, I saw him coming towards me again, this time while screaming towards me. "I now see why mom died even though you were there with her, YOU WERE WEAK!!" 

I could feel his anger and hatred for me and I now had a little more understanding of what his future was like. When he was only a couple of feet away from me he pulled a long sword out of a crack in space and swung it at me. It was apparent now to me that he had probably pulled the pocket sand out of the same space. It appeared to be some sort of dimensional inventory. 

Jenni from below yelled out. "Vegeta No!". but despite what she believed would happen, the sword never hit and instead magical beams that were mixed with Ki came out of King Moonlights eyes and hit Vegeta Zor-El in his chest causing him to cough up blood and fall to the ground. 

I looked below at the angry young man and yelled down at him. "It's not too late to save your mom you know." Thankfully it seemed that he had the Kryptonian weakness to magic and my eye beams had done quite a number on him in my Super Saiyan two form. 

"What... do you... mean?" Asked Vegeta Zor-El through haggard breaths as he tried to stand up. Reaching out my hand I helped him up while also remembering to take and pocket his ring. It was at this time that I saw his tail that he had hidden until now. Seeing Jenni approach, he quickly hid it away again with a shameful and embarrassed look on his face. He had already healed to near perfect condition with the nearby suns help, but it looked like he had thankfully decided to stop fighting upon hearing my previous words about saving his mom. 

I was confused seeing his actions though. "Why are you hiding your tail?"
