65 Camera View

"I teleported last second". It was a lie, but also a truth considering I technically did just recently teleport after finding out my clone died. If superman was skeptical of me, this should throw him off.

"Okay, so why didn't you let us know right away?" asked Wonder Woman.

Walking over to a nearby chair, I sat down. "I got caught up with a few people on the way. I'm sorry, really". Once again, technically not a lie. I did feel a bit bad for them thinking I had died and also lying to them, but what could I do?

before they had a chance to ask me any other questions, I quickly asked my own. "So what happened to Amazo? Is he still a threat?"

Superman went along with my change in subject. "Yes, but Hawk girl and Batman are both looking for him as we speak and we are all doing our own part here. We can't seem to get ahold of Martian Manhunter right now though, wonder woman was just about to go search for him".

Although the future has probably changed a lot by now due to me constantly changing things, I was sure Martian Manhunter was probably currently soul searching like he had been in the original timeline. He will figure things out on his own without our help so I saw no reason to focus on him. My focus was all on Amazo, the sentient android that could steal any power or ability just by looking at a person. It was extremely op, and a great opponent for me.

Amazo wasn't a bad guy though, he was just being used by Luthor to target the Justice League. His mind was that of a toddler, but he was growing both physically and mentally at an alarming pace. Looking at the Justice league members in front of me, I quickly said my goodbyes as I stood back up to leave. "I've got to go, call me on coms if you get a lead or find Amazo". After letting them know, I quickly teleported back home.

Mayank, Charlotte, and Matteo, were all training so I left them alone as I cancelled my work clone. Immediately it's memories/experiences flooded my mind. It had been busy. Not only had it sang at a couple charity events in my absence, but it also had found me a lot of future work. This week I was supposed to audition for a small part in an independent film with a new director. The movie was called 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang'.

This movie would be my first ever acting work since I had come to this universe. Even though technically I had done a number of movies and shows before, I still found myself both excited and nervous for the audition, small role or not. My previous life I had chosen to be in some pretty rotten films that did not do well, this time around I had somewhat of a cheat sheet.

Although this world did not have a lot of the movies my last world had, a few still exist and those few were my ticket to stardom if I could latch onto them. If the first couple of my movies do well, I planned to start directing and even staring in some of my own later. Just like how I could buy lyrics/music sheets from the systems celebrity shop, I could also buy scripts to movies that do not exist here.

Thinking about the shop, I pulled it up and looked at the Actors category items. I had purchased from the directors side before, but aside from the actors wardrobe and the purchase of script readers perfect recall, I hadn't really looked too far into it. Looking around, the prices all seemed very reasonable. I saw a number of interesting potions. Cry baby potion - [1500c] Dancing bug potion - [2500c] Method Man potion [5000c]. The potion prices could get pretty pricey for something that only worked temporarily, but just like the charm potion, I believed they would be a great help later.

After looking in the shop a bit, I bought a couple of things. The first potion I bought was called 'Facial Putty potion' for 2500c. It gave you great control over your facial expressions and let you use the muscles in your face you typically did not use much before and or had very little control over. It's effects lasted for one full day.

The next item I bought was another potion called 'heavenly boom mic audio potion' for 3500c. It allowed my voice to always reach the boom mic perfectly, regardless of the boom mic operators ability. The potion would last until whatever film was being made was finished and I wouldn't have to buy another one until I started a new film.

The next and final item I bought wasn't a potion at all, but instead a skill. Skills were permanent unlike the potions, so they were usually a lot more expensive. The script readers perfect recall was actually on the cheaper side of the skills and I had bought that for 20,000c before. The new skill I purchased was also fairly cheap and called 'Camera view' for 19,500c. It allowed me to not only see what a camera could see if I focused on the camera in question, but it also allowed me to always be in frame of the camera while being aware of any and all cameras on set.

After instantly learning the 'camera view' skill, I walked outside, activated the skill, and was greeted to a voice in my head. **Please create the field in which you will be working by walking around the area**. Hearing the robotic voice, I took a step forward and immediately saw the transparent orange color of my system form a line under my feet. Taking another step, I saw the line become longer. Walking around the block the line followed me until I met up with the start of the line again. Once I stepped on the start of the line, a huge space was formed around the block and gave a slight sparkle and shine before disappearing.

The next moment the transparent orange highlighted all cameras on the block including security cameras and cell phones. I could see the orange dots of cell phones move around the block as the person who held them walked around. With a thought I focused on one of the cell phones and I could suddenly see a small video feed in the upper right peripheral of my vision.

I could see a woman staring down at the camera of the phone as she walked and texted someone. Feeling that I had invaded her privacy, I immediately cut the feed.
